ಆದರೆ ಪೆಟ್ಟುಗಳಿಗೆ ಯೋಗ್ಯವಾದವುಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯದೆ ಮಾಡಿದವನು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಪೆಟ್ಟುಗಳನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುವನು. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಯಾವನಿಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚುಕೊಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದೆಯೋ ಅವನಿಂದ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಕೇಳಲ್ಪಡು ವದು; ಯಾವನಿಗೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿರುವರೋ ಅವನಿಂದ ಅವರು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಕೇಳುವ

ಈ ಅಜ್ಞಾನಕಾಲಗಳನ್ನು ದೇವರುಲಕ್ಷ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ತರಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಈಗಲಾದರೋ ಆತನು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಮನು ಷ್ಯರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಮಾನಸಾಂತರಪಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.
