Leviticus 14:8
ಶುದ್ಧವಾಗುವದಕ್ಕಿರುವವನು ತನ್ನ ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ತೊಳೆದುಕೊಂಡವನಾಗಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೂದಲನ್ನು ಕ್ಷೌರ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಶುದ್ಧನಾಗುವಂತೆ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ನೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಳೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು; ತರುವಾಯ ಅವನು ಪಾಳೆಯ ದೊಳಗೆ ಬಂದು ತನ್ನ ಡೇರೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಏಳು ದಿನಗಳ ವರೆಗೆ ಕಾಯಬೇಕು.

ಅರಣ್ಯಕಾಂಡ 8:7
ಅವರನ್ನು ಶುದ್ಧಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕಾದದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ಶುದ್ಧಿಮಾಡುವ ನೀರನ್ನು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಚಿಮುಕಿಸು. ಆಗ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಶರೀರವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕ್ಷೌರಮಾಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಒಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ. ಹೀಗೆ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತಾವೇ ಶುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡು.
ಪ್ರಕಟನೆ 7:14
ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನು ಅಯ್ಯಾ, ನೀನೇ ಬಲ್ಲೆ ಅಂದೆನು. ಅವನು ನನಗೆ--ಇವರು ಮಹಾಸಂಕಟದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಬಂದವರು; ಕುರಿಮರಿಯಾ ದಾತನ ರಕ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ನಿಲುವಂಗಿಗಳನ್ನು ತೊಳೆದು ಬೆಳ್ಳಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಅರಸನಾದ ಉಜ್ಜೀಯನು ಸಾಯುವ ದಿವಸದ ವರೆಗೂ ಕುಷ್ಠರೋಗಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದನು. ಅವನು ಕುಷ್ಠರೋಗವುಳ್ಳವನಾದದರಿಂದ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕವಾದ ಮನೆ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದನು. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವನು ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯದಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವನಾಗಿದ್ದನು. ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋತಾಮನು ಅರಸನ ಮನೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಇದ್ದು ದೇಶದ ಜನರಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದನು.
ಅರಣ್ಯಕಾಂಡ 12:14
ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ--ಆಕೆಯ ತಂದೆ ಆಕೆಯ ಮುಖದ ಮೇಲೆ ಉಗುಳಿದರೆ ಆಕೆಯು ಏಳು ದಿವಸ ನಾಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಿಲ್ಲವೋ? ಆಕೆಯು ಏಳು ದಿವಸ ಪಾಳೆಯದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಮರೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದು ತರುವಾಯ ಸೇರಿಸಲ್ಪಡಲಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

ಕುಷ್ಠವಿ ರುವವರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ಮೇಹವುಳ್ಳವರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ಹೆಣದಿಂದ ಅಶುದ್ಧವಾದವರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ಪಾಳೆಯದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಕಳು ಹಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸು.
ಯಾಜಕಕಾಂಡ 15:5
ಅವನ ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟುವವನು ತನ್ನ ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ಒಗೆದು ಕೊಂಡು ನೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ನಾನಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲದ ವರೆಗೆ ಅವನು ಅಶುದ್ಧನಾಗಿರಬೇಕು.
ಯಾಜಕಕಾಂಡ 14:20
ಯಾಜಕನು ದಹನಬಲಿಯನ್ನೂ ಆಹಾರ ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆಯನ್ನೂ ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಬೇಕು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಯಾಜಕನು ಅವನಿಗೋ ಸ್ಕರ ಪ್ರಾಯಶ್ಚಿತ್ತವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಆಗ ಅವನು ಶುದ್ಧನಾಗಿರುವನು.
ಯಾಜಕಕಾಂಡ 14:9
ಆದರೆ ಏಳೆನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ತಲೆಯ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೂದಲನ್ನೂ ಗಡ್ಡವನ್ನೂ ಕಣ್ಣು ಹುಬ್ಬುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೆ ತನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೂದಲನ್ನೂ ಕ್ಷೌರಮಾಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು; ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ತೊಳೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು; ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ತನ್ನ ದೇಹವನ್ನು ಸಹ ನೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಳೆಯಬೇಕು. ಆಗ ಅವನು ಶುದ್ಧನಾಗಿರುವನು.
ಯಾಜಕಕಾಂಡ 13:5
ಯಾಜಕನು ಏಳನೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವ ನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದಾಗ ಇಗೋ, ಆ ವ್ಯಾಧಿ ನಿಂತ ಹಾಗೆ ಕಾಣಿಸಿದರೆ ಆ ವ್ಯಾಧಿ ಚರ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಹರಡದಿದ್ದರೆ ಯಾಜಕನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಇನ್ನೂ ಏಳು ದಿನಗಳು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಡ ಬೇಕು.
