Leviticus 1:11
ಅವನು ಅದನ್ನು ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯ ಉತ್ತರದ ಕಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಮುಂದೆ ವಧಿಸಬೇಕು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಆರೋನನ ಕುಮಾರ ರಾದ ಯಾಜಕರು ಅದರ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಚಿಮುಕಿಸಬೇಕು.

ಆರೋನನಿಗೂ ಅವನ ಕುಮಾರರಿಗೂ ಹೇಳಬೇಕಾ ದದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ, ಪಾಪದ ಬಲಿಯ ನಿಯಮವು ಇದೇ. ದಹನಬಲಿಯು ವಧಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಪದ ಬಲಿಯೂ ಕರ್ತನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಧಿಸಲ್ಪಡ ಬೇಕು; ಅದು ಅತಿ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧವಾದದ್ದು.

ದಹನಬಲಿಯನ್ನು ವಧಿಸಿದ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಅತಿಕ್ರಮದ ಬಲಿಯನ್ನು ವಧಿಸಬೇಕು: ಅವನು ಅದರ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಚಿಮುಕಿಸ ಬೇಕು.
