1 ಯೆಹೂದ ಗೋತ್ರದ ಜೆರಹನ ಮಗನಾದ ಜಬ್ದೀಯ ಮಗನಾದ ಕರ್ವಿಾಯ ಮಗನಾದ ಆಕಾನನು ಶಾಪಕ್ಕೀಡಾದದ್ದರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡನು. ಈ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಶಾಪಕ್ಕೀಡಾದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಅಪರಾಧಿಗಳಾದರು. ಆದದರಿಂದ ಕರ್ತನ ಕೋಪವು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಉರಿಯಹತ್ತಿತ್ತು.

ಯೋನ 1:7

ಪ್ರಸಂಗಿ 9:18
ಯುದ್ಧದ ಆಯುಧಗಳಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ಜ್ಞಾನವು ಲೇಸು. ಆದರೆ ಒಬ್ಬ ಪಾಪಿಯು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದನ್ನು ನಾಶಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.

ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ತೋಪುಗಳನ್ನೂ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸೇವಿಸಿದರು. ಆದಕಾರಣ ಅವರ ಈ ಅಪರಾಧದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಯೆಹೂದ ಮತ್ತು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ರೌದ್ರ ಬಂತು.

ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯವು ದೇವರ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಟ್ಟದಾದ್ದರಿಂದ ಆತನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರನ್ನು ಬಾಧಿಸಿ ದನು.

ಕರ್ತನ ಕೋಪವು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಉರಿಯಿತು; ಆಗ ಇಸ್ರಾ ಯೇಲನ್ನೂ ಯೆಹೂದವನ್ನೂ ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಲು ಹೋಗೆಂದು ಆತನು ದಾವೀದನನ್ನು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಿದನು.

ಈಹೊತ್ತು ಕರ್ತನ ಕಡೆ ಯಿಂದ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತೀರಲ್ಲಾ? ಈಹೊತ್ತು ಕರ್ತ ನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ತಿರುಗಿ ಬಿದ್ದಾಗ ನಾಳೆ ಆತನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಾದರ ಮೇಲೆ ರೌದ್ರವುಳ್ಳವ ನಾಗುವನು.

ಕರ್ತನ ಸಭೆಯೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹೇಳುವದೇನಂದರೆ, ನೀವು ಈ ಹೊತ್ತು ಕರ್ತನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗದೆ ಆತನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ತಿರುಗಿ ಬೀಳುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನಿಮಗೆ ಒಂದು ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿ ಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಈ ಅಪರಾಧವೇನು?
