Jeremiah 8:12
ಇಲ್ಲ, ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ವಾದರೂ ನಾಚಿಕೆಪಡಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಅವರು ಲಜ್ಜೆ ಯನ್ನು ಅರಿಯರು. ಆದದರಿಂದ ಬೀಳುವವರೊಳಗೆ ಅವರು ಬೀಳುವರು; ಅವರು ವಿಚಾರಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಹಾಕಲ್ಪಡು ವರು ಎಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.

ಯೆಶಾಯ 3:9
ಅವರ ಮುಖಭಾವವೇ ಅವರಿಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ತಮ್ಮ ಪಾಪ ಗಳನ್ನು ಸೊದೋಮಿನವರಂತೆ ಮರೆಮಾಜದೆ ಪ್ರಕಟ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಅವರ ಆತ್ಮಕ್ಕೆ ಅಯ್ಯೋ! ತಮಗೆ ತಾವೇ ಕೇಡನ್ನು ಪ್ರತೀಕಾರವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಹೀಗಿದ್ದಾಗ್ಯೂ ಆ ಜನರು ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆ ದಾತನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗದೆಯೂ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕದೆಯೂ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ.
