ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಯೆಹೋಯಾಖೀನನ ಸೆರೆಯ ಮೂವತ್ತೇಳನೇ ವರುಷದಲ್ಲಿ, ಹನ್ನೆರಡನೇ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತೈದನೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಆದದ್ದೇನಂ ದರೆ--ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಎವೀಲ್ಮೆರೋದಕನು ತನ್ನ ಆಳಿಕೆಯ ಮೊದಲನೇ ವರುಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಯೆಹೋಯಾಖೀನನ ತಲೆಯನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಸೆರೆಮನೆಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ತರಿಸಿ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಕರುಣೆಯಿಂದ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ
