Jeremiah 36:14
ಆದದರಿಂದ ಪ್ರಧಾನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಕೂಷಿಯ ಮಗನಾದ ಶೆಲೆಮ್ಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ನೆಥನ್ಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೆಹೂದಿಯನ್ನು ಬಾರೂಕನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ--ನೀನು ಜನರಿಗೆ ಓದಿ ಹೇಳಿದ ಸುರಳಿಯನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಾ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು; ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನೇರೀಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಬಾರೂಕನು ಸುರಳಿಯನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಅವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದನು.

ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯಪುತ್ರನೇ, ನೀನು ಅವರಿಗಾ ಗಲೀ ಅವರ ಮಾತುಗಳಿಗಾಗಲೀ ಭಯಪಡಬೇಡ. ಮುಳ್ಳುಗಳೂ ದತ್ತೂರಿಗಳೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದರೂ ಚೇಳುಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ನೀನು ವಾಸಿಸಿದರೂ ಸರಿ; ನೀನು ಅವರ ಮಾತುಗಳಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಡಬೇಡ, ಅವರು ತಿರುಗಿ ಬೀಳುವ ಮನೆಯವರಾದರೂ ಅವರ ನೋಟಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಂಜಬೇಡ.

ಏಳನೇ ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆದದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ಅರಸನ ಸಂತಾನದವನೂ ಅರಸನ ಪ್ರಧಾನರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನೂ ಆದಂಥ ಎಲೀಷಾಮನ ಮಗನಾದ ನೆತನ್ಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಇಷ್ಮಾಯೇಲನೂ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಹತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯರೂ ಅಹೀಕಾ ಮನ ಮಗನಾದ ಗೆದಲ್ಯನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಮಿಚ್ಪಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದರು; ಅವರು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಮಿಚ್ಪದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಊಟಮಾಡಿದರು.

ಆಗ ಅರಸನು ಆ ಸುರಳಿಯನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಬರುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಯೆಹೂದಿಯನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು; ಅವನು ಅದನ್ನು ಲೇಖಕನಾದ ಎಲೀಷಾಮನ ಕೊಠಡಿಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡನು; ಯೆಹೂದಿಯು ಅದನ್ನು ಅರಸನ ಮತ್ತು ಅವನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ರಿಗೂ ಓದಿ ಹೇಳಿದನು.
