Jeremiah 25:27
ಆದದರಿಂದ ನೀನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಬೇಕಾದದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ --ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸುವ ಕತ್ತಿಯ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವೇ ಕುಡಿಯಿರಿ, ಮತ್ತರಾಗಿರಿ, ಕಾರಿರಿ, ಬೀಳಿರಿ, ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ತಿರುಗಿ ಏಳದಿರ್ರಿ.

ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಉನ್ನತ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೆಡಿಸುವವರು ಬಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಕರ್ತನ ಕತ್ತಿಯು ದೇಶದ ಒಂದು ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಕಡೆಯ ವರೆಗೂ ತಿಂದು ಬಿಡುತ್ತದೆ ಯಾವ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗೂ ಸಮಾಧಾನವಿಲ್ಲ.
