Jeremiah 22:10
ಸತ್ತವನಿಗಾಗಿ ಅಳಬೇಡಿರಿ; ಅವನಿಗಾಗಿ ಗೋಳಾ ಡಬೇಡಿರಿ; ಹೊರಟುಹೋದವನಿಗಾಗಿ ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಅಳಿರಿ. ಅವನು ತಿರುಗಿ ಬರುವದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ. ತಾನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಇನ್ನು ನೋಡುವದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.

ಅವನ ಸೇವಕರು ಸತ್ತವನಾದ ಅವನನ್ನು ರಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೆಗಿದ್ದೋವಿನಿಂದ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದು ಅವನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಸಮಾಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೂಣಿಟ್ಟರು. ಆಗ ದೇಶದ ಜನರು ಯೋಷೀಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವಾಹಾಜನನ್ನು ಅಭಿಷೇಕಿಸಿ ಅವನ ತಂದೆಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಅರಸನನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದರು.

ಆದದರಿಂದ ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು; ನೀನು ಸಮಾಧಾನದಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಮಾಧಿಗೆ ಸೇರುವಿ; ನಾನು ಈ ಸ್ಥಳದ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರಮಾಡುವ ಕೇಡನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ಕಾಣುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂಬದು. ಅವರು ಹೋಗಿ ಈ ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವನ್ನು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
