Jeremiah 15:2
ಅವರು ನಿನಗೆ--ನಾವು ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಗಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರೆ, ನೀನು ಅವ ರಿಗೆ--ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ--ಮರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಇರುವವರು ಮರಣಕ್ಕೆ; ಕತ್ತಿಗೆ ಇರುವವರು ಕತ್ತಿಗೆ; ಕ್ಷಾಮಕ್ಕೆ ಇರುವವರು ಕ್ಷಾಮಕ್ಕೆ, ಸೆರೆಗೆ ಇರು ವವರು ಸೆರೆಗೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಬೇಕು.

ಅದರ ಮೂರನೆಯ ಪಾಲನ್ನು ನಗರದ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುತ್ತಿಗೆಯ ದಿವಸಗಳು ಮುಗಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ಸುಡಬೇಕು, ಮೂರನೆಯ ಪಾಲನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಖಡ್ಗದಿಂದ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಕಡಿಯಬೇಕು; ಉಳಿದ ಮೂರನೆಯ ಪಾಲನ್ನು ಗಾಳಿಗೆ ಚೆಲ್ಲಬೇಕು ಮತ್ತು ನಾನು ಅವುಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ಕತ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಬೀಸುವೆನು

ಪ್ರಕಟನೆ 13:10
ಸೆರೆಗೆ ನಡಿಸುವವನು ಸೆರೆಗೆ ಹೋಗುವನು; ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಕೊಲ್ಲುವವನು ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದಲೇ ಕೊಲೆಯಾಗಬೇಕು. ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿ ಶುದ್ಧರ ತಾಳ್ಮೆಯೂ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯೂ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ.
ಪ್ರಕಟನೆ 6:3
ಆತನು ಎರಡನೆಯ ಮುದ್ರೆಯನ್ನು ತೆರೆದಾಗ ಎರಡನೆಯ ಜೀವಿಯು--ಬಂದು ನೋಡು ಅನ್ನುವ ದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದೆನು.

ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ; ನಾನು ಕತ್ತಿ ಬರಗಾಲ ದುಷ್ಟಮೃಗ ವ್ಯಾಧಿಗಳೆಂಬ ನನ್ನ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಕಠಿಣವಾದ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರ್ಪುಗಳನ್ನು ಯೆರೂಸ ಲೇಮಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನೂ ಮೃಗಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕಡಿದು ಬಿಟ್ಟ ಮೇಲೆ ಮತ್ತೆ ಏನಾಗುವದು?

ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಓಡಿಸಿಬಿಡುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂದೆಗೂ ಗಾದೆಗೂ ಹಾಸ್ಯಕ್ಕೂ ಶಾಪಕ್ಕೂ ಗುರಿಮಾಡಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಸಮಸ್ತ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದು ಕೇಡಿಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸುವೆನು.
