Genesis 33:8
ಆಗ ಏಸಾ ವನು--ನಾನು ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡ ಪಶುಗಳ ಮಂದೆ ಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಯಾತಕ್ಕೆ? ಅಂದಾಗ ಯಾಕೋಬನು--ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನನಗೆ ಕೃಪೆ ದೊರಕಲಿ ಎಂದು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ತಮಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟೆನು.

ಯಾಕೋಬನು ಅದೇ ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಇಳುಕೊಂಡನು; ತಾನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನಾದ ಏಸಾವನಿಗೆ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಗಾಗಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡನು.
ಆದಿಕಾಂಡ 39:5
ಅವನನ್ನು ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ತನಗಿದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲಾದರ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಮೇಲ್ವಿಚಾರಕನನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದಂದಿನಿಂದ ಕರ್ತನು ಆ ಐಗುಪ್ತದವನ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಯೋಸೇಫನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ವಾಗಿ ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿದನು. ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಹೊಲ ದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ (ಅವನಿಗಿದ್ದ) ಎಲ್ಲಾದರ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಕರ್ತನ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದವಿತ್ತು.
ಎಸ್ತೇರಳು 2:17
ಅರಸನು ಸಕಲ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರಿಗಿಂತ ಎಸ್ತೇರಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಅವಳಿಗೆ ಅವನ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಕನ್ಯಾಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರಿಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ದಯವೂ ಕೃಪೆಯೂ ದೊರಕಿತು. ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ರಾಜಕಿರೀಟವನ್ನು ಅವಳ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಇರಿಸಿ ಅವಳನ್ನು ವಷ್ಟಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ರಾಣಿಯಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದನು.
