Genesis 3:22
ಇದ ಲ್ಲದೆ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರು--ಇಗೋ, ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಒಳ್ಳೇದರ ಕೆಟ್ಟದರ ಭೇದವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದು ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನಂತಾದನು; ಈಗ ಅವನು ಕೈಚಾಚಿ ಜೀವವೃಕ್ಷದ ಫಲವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದು ತಿಂದು ಎಂದೆಂದಿಗೂ ಬದುಕ ಬಾರದು ಅಂದನು.

ಕರ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರು ನೋಟಕ್ಕೆ ರಮ್ಯವಾದ ಮತ್ತು ಊಟಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳ್ಳೇದಾದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮರಗಳನ್ನು, ತೋಟದ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಜೀವದ ಮರವನ್ನು, ಒಳ್ಳೇದರ ಕೆಟ್ಟದರ ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯ ಮರವನ್ನು ಭೂಮಿಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಬೆಳೆಯಿಸಿದನು.

ನೀವು ಅದನ್ನು ತಿಂದ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ತೆರೆಯ ಲ್ಪಡುವವೆಂದೂ ನೀವು ಒಳ್ಳೇದರ ಕೆಟ್ಟದರ ಭೇದವನ್ನು ಅರಿತವರಾಗಿ ದೇವರುಗಳ ಹಾಗೆ ಇರುವಿರೆಂದೂ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿದಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿತು.

ಆತನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಂಡು ನಡೆಯುವವರು ಧನ್ಯರು; ಅವರಿಗೆ ಜೀವವೃಕ್ಷದ ಹಕ್ಕು ಇರುವದು; ಅವರು ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲು ಗಳಿಂದ ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣದೊಳಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರುವರು.
ಪ್ರಕಟನೆ 22:2
ಅದರ ಬೀದಿಯ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಆ ನದಿಯ ಉಭಯ ಪಾರ್ಶ್ವಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಜೀವವೃಕ್ಷವಿತ್ತು; ಅದು ತಿಂಗಳು ತಿಂಗಳಿಗೆ ಫಲವನ್ನು ಫಲಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ತರದ ಫಲಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಡುತ್ತದೆ. ಆ ಮರದ ಎಲೆಗಳು ಜನಾಂಗದವರನ್ನು ವಾಸಿಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಇದ್ದವು.
ಪ್ರಕಟನೆ 2:7
ಆತ್ಮನು ಸಭೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೇಳುವದನ್ನು ಕಿವಿಯುಳ್ಳವನು ಕೇಳಲಿ. ಯಾವನು ಜಯಹೊಂದುತ್ತಾನೋ ಅವನಿಗೆ ದೇವರ ಪರದೈಸಿನ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಜೀವವೃಕ್ಷದ ಹಣ್ಣನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಡುವೆನು.

ನಾನೇ ಆ ಜೀವದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

ಕರ್ತನು--ಇಗೋ, ಜನವು ಒಂದೇ; ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೆ ಭಾಷೆಯೂ ಒಂದೇ. ಈಗ ಅವರು ಇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲಾರಂಭಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದೆ ಅವರು ಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಊಹಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಅಡ್ಡಿ ಯಾಗದು.
ಯೆರೆಮಿಯ 22:23
ಓ ಲೆಬನೋನಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡು ವವಳೇ, ದೇವದಾರುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಗೂಡು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡ ವಳೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೇನೆಗಳೂ ಹೆರುವವಳಂತಿರುವ ವೇದನೆಯೂ ಬರುವಾಗ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಸುಖಕರವಾಗಿರುವಿ.

ನಿನ್ನ ಮಾಟಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ನಿಂತುಕೋ ನಿನ್ನ ಯೌವನದಾರಭ್ಯ ಬೇಸತ್ತು ಅಭ್ಯಾಸಿಸಿರುವ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಂತ್ರತಂತ್ರಗಳನ್ನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಾಟಗಳನ್ನೂ ಲೆಕ್ಕವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಪ್ರಯೋಗಿಸು; ಇದರಿಂದ ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ನಿನಗೆ ಲಾಭವಾದೀತು. ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ನೀನು ಎದು ರಾಗಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಬಹುದು.
ಯೆಶಾಯ 19:12
ಅವರು ಎಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ? ನಿನ್ನ ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳು ಎಲ್ಲಿ? ಅವರು ನಿನಗೆ ಹೇಳಲಿ. ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳ ಕರ್ತನು ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯರ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಅವರು ತಿಳಿದು ಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ.

ದೀನರು ಉಂಡು ತೃಪ್ತಿಯಾಗುವರು; ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವವರು ಆತನನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸುವರು; ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯವು ಎಂದೆಂದಿಗೂ ಬದುಕುವದು.
