Genesis 29:2
ಅವನು ಕಣ್ಣೆತ್ತಿ ನೋಡಲಾಗಿ ಹೊಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಬಾವಿ ಇತ್ತು. ಇಗೋ, ಅದರ ಸವಿಾಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರು ಕುರಿಗಳ ಮಂದೆಗಳು ಮಲಗಿದ್ದವು. ಆ ಬಾವಿಯ ನೀರನ್ನು ಮಂದೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಅವರು ಕುಡಿಸು ತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಆ ಬಾವಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಒಂದುದೊಡ್ಡ ಕಲ್ಲು ಇತ್ತು.

ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ಕೊಡುವ ನೀರನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಯುವವನಿಗೆ ಎಂದಿಗೂ ನೀರ ಡಿಕೆಯಾಗುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನಾನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕೊಡುವ ನೀರು ಅವನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿತ್ಯಜೀವಕ್ಕೆ ಉಕ್ಕುವ ನೀರಿನ ಬಾವಿಯಾಗಿರುವದು ಅಂದನು.
