ಅಶ್ಶೂರಿನ ಅರಸನು ಅಶ್ಶೂರಕ್ಕೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ್ನು ಸೆರೆಯಾಗಿ ಒಯ್ದು ಗೋಜಾನ್ ನದಿಯ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಲಹುನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಹಾಬೋರಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಮೇದ್ಯರ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅವರನ್ನು ಇರಿಸಿದನು.

ದಮಸ್ಕವು ಸಿರಿ ಯಾದ ತಲೆಯಾಗಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು ದಮಸ್ಕದ ತಲೆಯು ರೆಚೀನ; ಅರುವತ್ತೈದು ವರುಷಗಳೊಳಗೆ ಎಫ್ರಾಯಾ ಮ್ಯರು ಭಂಗಪಟ್ಟು ಜನಾಂಗವೆನಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳರು.

ಇಗೋ, ಅಶ್ಶೂರಿನ ಅರಸುಗಳು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದೇಶಗಳನ್ನು ಶಾಪಕೊಟ್ಟು ನಿರ್ಮೂಲ ಮಾಡಿದ ವರ್ತ ಮಾನವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದಿ. ಆದರೆ ನೀನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳು ವಿಯೋ?
