1 Kings 15:8
ಅಬೀಯಾಮನು ತನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಲಗಿ ದನು; ದಾವೀದನ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಹೂಣಿ ಟ್ಟರು. ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಆಸನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಆಳಿದನು.

ರೆಹಬ್ಬಾಮನು ತನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಲಗಿದನು. ದಾವೀದನ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನು ಹೂಣಿಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟನು. ಅವನ ತಾಯಿ ಅಮ್ಮೋನ್ಯಳಾದ ನಯಮಾಳೆಂಬ ಹೆಸರುಳ್ಳವಳಾ ಗಿದ್ದಳು. ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಬೀಯಾಮನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಆಳಿದನು.

ಅದೇ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಭೀಯನು ರೋಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದನು. ಆದದರಿಂದ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನು ತನ್ನ ಪತ್ನಿಗೆ--ನೀನೆದ್ದು

ಉಪಪತ್ನಿಗಳ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಹೊರತಾಗಿ ಇವರೆಲ್ಲರು ದಾವೀದನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ತಾಮಾರಳು ಇವರ ಸಹೋದರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಳು.
