Song Of Solomon 2
1 ಶಾರೋನಿನ ಗುಲಾಬಿ ಹೂವೂ, ತಗ್ಗುಗಳ ತಾವರೆಯೂ ನಾನೇ.
2 ಮುಳ್ಳುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಾವರೆಯು ಹೇಗೋ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಿಯಳು ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಇದ್ದಾಳೆ.
3 ಅಡವಿಯ ಗಿಡಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇಬು ಮರ ಹೇಗೋ ಕುಮಾರರಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಿಯನು ಹಾಗೆಯೇ. ನಾನು ಅವನ ನೆರಳಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹು ಆನಂದವಾಗಿ ಕುಳಿತು ಕೊಂಡೆನು; ಅವನ ಫಲವು ನನ್ನ ರುಚಿಗೆ ಮಧುರ ವಾಗಿತ್ತು.
4 ಔತಣದ ಮನೆಗೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕರಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದನು; ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವನ ಧ್ವಜ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯೇ.
5 ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೆಯ ಉಂಡಿಗಳಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದಿರು; ಸೇಬು ಹಣ್ಣುಗಳಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಆದರಿಸು; ಪ್ರೀತಿಯ ದೆಸೆಯಿಂದ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥಳಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
6 ಅವನ ಎಡಗೈ ನನ್ನ ತಲೆಯ ಕೆಳಗದೆ; ಅವನ ಬಲಗೈ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಪ್ಪಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆ.
7 ಓ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆಯರೇ, ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಿಯನು ಮೆಚ್ಚುವ ವರೆಗೆ ನೀವು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಬೇಡಿರಿ, ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಿಯನನ್ನು ಎಚ್ಚರಿಸಬೇಡಿರಿ ಎಂದು ದುಪ್ಪಿಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಅಡವಿಯ ಜಿಂಕೆಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ನಿಮಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.
8 ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಿಯನ ಸ್ವರವು! ಇಗೋ, ಅವನು ಪರ್ವತಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಾರುತ್ತಾ ಗುಡ್ಡಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ನೆಗೆಯುತ್ತಾ ಬರುತ್ತಾನೆ.
9 ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಿಯನು ಜಿಂಕೆಯ ಹಾಗೆ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ದುಪ್ಪಿಯ ಮರಿಯ ಹಾಗೆ ಇದ್ದಾನೆ. ಇಗೋ, ಅವನು ನಮ್ಮ ಗೋಡೆಯ ಹಿಂದೆ ನಿಂತು ಜಲಾಂತರಗಳಿಂದ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಿ ಕಿಟಕಿಗಳಿಂದ ನೋಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.
10 ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಿಯನು ಮಾತಾಡಿ--ಏಳು, ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಿಯಳೇ, ನನ್ನ ಸುಂದರಿಯೇ, ಹೊರಟು ಬಾ.
11 ಇಗೋ, ಚಳಿ ಗಾಲವು ಗತಿಸಿತು; ಮಳೆಯು ನಿಂತುಹೋಯಿತು;
12 ಪುಷ್ಪಗಳು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಾಣಿಸುತ್ತವೆ; ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳು ಹಾಡುವ ಕಾಲ ಬಂತು; ಬೆಳವಕ್ಕಿಯ ಸ್ವರವು ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇಳಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತದೆ.
13 ಅಂಜೂರದ ಗಿಡವು ಅದರ ಹೀಚುಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಡುತ್ತದೆ. ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇ ಬಳ್ಳಿಗಳ ಹೂವು ಅದರ ಸುವಾಸನೆಯನ್ನು ಕೊಡು ತ್ತದೆ. ಏಳು, ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಿಯಳೇ, ನನ್ನ ಸುಂದರಿಯೇ, ಹೊರಟು ಬಾ ಎಂಬದು.
14 ಗುಪ್ತವಾದ ಹಂತಗ ಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕಲ್ಲು ಸಂದುಗಳ ಮರೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇರುವ ಓ ನನ್ನ ಪಾರಿವಾಳವೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಖವನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ತೋರ ಮಾಡು. ನಿನ್ನ ಸ್ವರವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿಸು. ನಿನ್ನ ಸ್ವರವು ರಮ್ಯವಾಗಿಯೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಖವು ಸೌಂದರ್ಯ ವಾಗಿಯೂ ಅದೆ.
15 ನರಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇ ಗಿಡಗಳನ್ನು ಕೆಡಿಸುವ ಚಿಕ್ಕ ನರಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ನಮಗಾಗಿ ಹಿಡಿಯಿರಿ; ನಮ್ಮ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇಗಿಡಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಎಳೆಗಾಯಿಗಳಾಗಿವೆ.
16 ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಿಯನು ನನ್ನವನು, ನಾನು ಅವನವಳು.ಅವನು ತಾವರೆ ಹೂವುಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೇಯಿಸು ತ್ತಾನೆ.
17 ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಿಯನೇ, ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು ಬೆಳಗಾಗು ವವರೆಗೂ ನೆರಳುಗಳು ಓಡಿಹೋಗುವ ವರೆಗೂ, ಬತೇರ್ ಪರ್ವತಗಳ ಮೇಲಿರುವ ಜಿಂಕೆಯ ಹಾಗೆ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ದುಪ್ಪಿಯ ಮರಿಯ ಹಾಗೆ ಇರು.
1 I am the rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys.
2 As the lily among thorns, so is my love among the daughters.
3 As the apple tree among the trees of the wood, so is my beloved among the sons. I sat down under his shadow with great delight, and his fruit was sweet to my taste.
4 He brought me to the banqueting house, and his banner over me was love.
5 Stay me with flagons, comfort me with apples: for I am sick of love.
6 His left hand is under my head, and his right hand doth embrace me.
7 I charge you, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, by the roes, and by the hinds of the field, that ye stir not up, nor awake my love, till he please.
8 The voice of my beloved! behold, he cometh leaping upon the mountains, skipping upon the hills.
9 My beloved is like a roe or a young hart: behold, he standeth behind our wall, he looketh forth at the windows, shewing himself through the lattice.
10 My beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away.
11 For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone;
12 The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land;
13 The fig tree putteth forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grape give a good smell. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away.
14 O my dove, that art in the clefts of the rock, in the secret places of the stairs, let me see thy countenance, let me hear thy voice; for sweet is thy voice, and thy countenance is comely.
15 Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender grapes.
16 My beloved is mine, and I am his: he feedeth among the lilies.
17 Until the day break, and the shadows flee away, turn, my beloved, and be thou like a roe or a young hart upon the mountains of Bether.

1 ಹೀಗೆ ಆಕಾಶಗಳೂ ಭೂಮಿಯೂ ಅವುಗಳ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಸಮೂಹವೂ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ವಾದವು.
Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
2 ಏಳನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರು ತಾನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದ ತನ್ನ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಮುಗಿಸಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಏಳನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ತಾನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೆಲಸದಿಂದ ವಿಶ್ರಮಿಸಿಕೊಂಡನು.
And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
3 ದೇವರು ಏಳನೆಯ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಪವಿತ್ರಮಾಡಿದನು; ಯಾಕಂ ದರೆ ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ತಾನು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿದ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾಡಿದ ತನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೆಲಸದಿಂದ ವಿಶ್ರಮಿಸಿಕೊಂಡನು.
And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
4 ಇದೇ ಭೂಮ್ಯಾಕಾಶಗಳ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣಚರಿತ್ರೆ.
These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens,
5 ಕರ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರು ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನೂ ಆಕಾಶಗಳನ್ನೂ ಉಂಟು ಮಾಡಿದ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಲದ ಯಾವ ಗಿಡವಾದರೂ ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ನೂ ಬೆಳೆದಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಹೊಲದ ಯಾವ ಪಲ್ಯವಾದರೂ ಇನ್ನೂ ಮೊಳೆತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಳೆ ಸುರಿಸಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ವ್ಯವಸಾಯ ಮಾಡು ವದಕ್ಕೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the Lord God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.
6 ಆದರೆ ಭೂಮಿ ಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಮಂಜು ಏರಿಬಂದು ನೆಲವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ತೋಯಿಸುತ್ತಿತ್ತು.
But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.
7 ಕರ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮಣ್ಣಿನಿಂದ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಿ ಅವನ ಮೂಗಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಜೀವಶ್ವಾಸ ವನ್ನು ಊದಿದನು; ಆಗ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಜೀವಾತ್ಮ ನಾದನು.
And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
8 ಕರ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರು ಏದೆನಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪೂರ್ವ ದಿಕ್ಕಿಗೆ ತೋಟವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ತಾನು ರೂಪಿಸಿದ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಇಟ್ಟನು.
And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.
9 ಕರ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರು ನೋಟಕ್ಕೆ ರಮ್ಯವಾದ ಮತ್ತು ಊಟಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳ್ಳೇದಾದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮರಗಳನ್ನು, ತೋಟದ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಜೀವದ ಮರವನ್ನು, ಒಳ್ಳೇದರ ಕೆಟ್ಟದರ ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯ ಮರವನ್ನು ಭೂಮಿಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಬೆಳೆಯಿಸಿದನು.
And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
10 ತೋಟವನ್ನು ತೋಯಿಸುವದಕ್ಕಿರುವ ನದಿಯು ಏದೆನಿನೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಶಾಖೆಗಳಾಯಿತು.
And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads.
11 ಮೊದಲನೆಯದರ ಹೆಸರು ಪೀಶೋನ್; ಅದು ಹವೀಲ ದೇಶವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸುತ್ತುವದು; ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂಗಾರವಿದೆ.
The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold;
12 ಆ ದೇಶದ ಬಂಗಾರವು ಉತ್ತಮವಾದದ್ದು; ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಬದೋಲಖ ಮತ್ತು ಗೋಮೇಧಿಕ ಕಲ್ಲು ಇದೆ.
And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone.
13 ಎರಡನೆಯ ನದಿಯ ಹೆಸರು ಗೀಹೋನ್; ಅದು ಕೂಷ್ ದೇಶವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸುತ್ತುವದು.
And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia.
14 ಮೂರನೆಯ ನದಿಯ ಹೆಸರು ಹಿದ್ದೆಕೆಲ್; ಅದು ಅಶ್ಶೂರದ ಪೂರ್ವದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಹರಿಯುವದು. ನಾಲ್ಕನೆಯ ನದಿಯು ಯೂಫ್ರೇಟೀಸ್.
And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates.
15 ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರು ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಕರಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ ಏದೆನ್ ತೋಟ ವನ್ನು ವ್ಯವಸಾಯ ಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಕಾಯುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಇಟ್ಟನು.
And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.
16 ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಮನುಷ್ಯ ನಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ನೀನು ತೋಟದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮರಗಳ ಫಲವನ್ನು ಯಥೇಚ್ಛವಾಗಿ ತಿನ್ನಬಹುದು;
And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
17 ಆದರೆ ಒಳ್ಳೇದು ಕೆಟ್ಟದರ ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನುಂಟು ಮಾಡುವ ಮರದ ಫಲವನ್ನು ನೀನು ತಿನ್ನಬಾರದು; ಅದನ್ನು ತಿಂದ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿ ಸಾಯುವಿ ಅಂದನು.
But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
18 ಕರ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರು--ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಒಂಟಿಯಾ ಗಿರುವದು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದಲ್ಲ; ಅವನಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕ ಸಹಕಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವೆನು ಅಂದನು.
And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
19 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರು ಅಡವಿಯ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮೃಗಗಳನ್ನೂ ಆಕಾಶದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮಣ್ಣಿನಿಂದ ರೂಪಿಸಿ ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಆದಾಮನು ಏನು ಹೆಸರಿಡುವನೋ ಎಂದು ನೋಡು ವದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿದನು. ಆದಾಮನು ಕರೆದದ್ದೇ ಆ ಜೀವಿಗಳಿಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹೆಸರಾಯಿತು.
And out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.
20 ಆದಾ ಮನು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಶುಗಳಿಗೂ ಆಕಾಶದ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳಿಗೂ ಅಡವಿಯ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮೃಗಗಳಿಗೂ ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟನು, ಆದರೆ ಆದಾಮನಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕ ಸಹಕಾರಿ ಸಿಗಲಿಲ್ಲ.
And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.
21 ಕರ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರು ಆದಾಮನಿಗೆ ಗಾಢನಿದ್ರೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ನಿದ್ರೆಮಾಡಿದನು; ಆಗ ಆತನು ಅವನ ಪಕ್ಕೆಯ ಎಲುಬುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿದನು.
And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;
22 ಕರ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರು ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಂದ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡ ಪಕ್ಕೆಯ ಎಲು ಬನ್ನು ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯಾಗಮಾಡಿ ಅವಳನ್ನು ಅವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಂದನು.
And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
23 ಆಗ ಆದಾಮನು--ಇವಳು ಈಗ ನನ್ನ ಎಲುಬುಗಳ ಎಲುಬೂ ನನ್ನ ಮಾಂಸದ ಮಾಂಸವೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾಳೆ; ಇವಳು ನರನಿಂದ ತೆಗೆಯ ಲ್ಪಟ್ಟದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಾರಿಯೆಂದು ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಡುವಳು ಅಂದನು.
And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.
24 ಆದದರಿಂದ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆತಾಯಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ತನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು; ಅವರು ಒಂದೇ ಶರೀರ ವಾಗಿರುವರು.
Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
25 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಅವನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯು ಇಬ್ಬರು ಬೆತ್ತಲೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ನಾಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲ.
And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.
