ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಬೋವಜನು ಅವಳಿಗೆ ಊಟದ ವೇಳೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಬಂದು ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯ ತುತ್ತನ್ನು ಹುಳಿರಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಅದ್ದಿ ತಿನ್ನು ಅಂದನು. ಅವಳು ಕೊಯ್ಯುವವರ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತಳು. ಆಗ ಅವನು ಅವಳಿಗೆ ಹುರಿದ ತೆನೆಯನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟನು. ಅವಳು ತಿಂದು ತೃಪ್ತಿಪಟ್ಟು ಇನ್ನೂ ಉಳಿಸಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಳು.
