Romans 14:14
ಯಾವ ಪದಾರ್ಥವೂ ಸ್ವತಃ ಅಶುದ್ಧ ವಾದದ್ದಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ನಾನು ಬಲ್ಲೆನು, ಇದನ್ನು ನಾನು ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ದೃಢವಾಗಿ ನಂಬಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಆದರೆ ಯಾವದಾದರೂ ಒಂದು ಪದಾರ್ಥವನ್ನು ಅಶುದ್ಧವೆಂದು ಒಬ್ಬನು ಭಾವಿಸಿದರೆ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಅದು ಅಶುದ್ಧವೇ.

ದೇವರ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಆಹಾರದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿ ಕೆಡಿಸಬಾರದು. ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪದಾರ್ಥಗಳೂ ಶುದ್ಧವೇ ಹೌದು; ಆದರೆ ವಿಘ್ನವನ್ನುಂಟು ಮಾಡು ವಂತೆ ತಿನ್ನುವವನಿಗೆ ಅದು ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದಾಗಿದೆ.
