ಆದರೆ ಯೆಶುರೂನು ಕೊಬ್ಬಿ ಒದ್ದನು, ನೀನು ಕೊಬ್ಬಿದವನಾಗಿ ಉಬ್ಬಿದಿ, ನೀನು ಕೊಬ್ಬಿನಿಂದ ಮುಚ್ಚ ಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿ. ಅವನು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಉಂಟುಮಾಡಿದ ದೇವರನ್ನು ತೊರೆದು ತನ್ನ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ಬಂಡೆಯನ್ನು ಅಲಕ್ಷ್ಯ ಮಾಡಿದನು.

(ಪೂರ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ದೇವರ ಹತ್ತಿರ ವಿಚಾರಿಸಬೇಕಾದರೆ--ದೀರ್ಘ ದರ್ಶಿಯ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗೋಣ ಬನ್ನಿರಿ ಅನ್ನುವನು.) ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಈ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವಾದಿ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪ ಟ್ಟವನು ಪೂರ್ವಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ದೀರ್ಘದರ್ಶಿ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು.

ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಮೋಶೆಯು ತನ್ನ ಮಾವನಿಗೆ--ದೇವರ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇಳುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಜನರು ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರುತ್ತಾರೆ.
