וַיָּבֹ֣אוּ came va-ya-VOH-oo בְנֵֽי the veh-NAY יִ֠שְׂרָאֵל children YEES-ra-ale כָּל of kahl הָ֨עֵדָ֤ה Israel, HA-ay-DA מִדְבַּר even meed-BAHR צִן֙ the tseen בַּחֹ֣דֶשׁ whole ba-HOH-desh הָֽרִאשׁ֔וֹן congregation, ha-ree-SHONE וַיֵּ֥שֶׁב into va-YAY-shev הָעָ֖ם the ha-AM בְּקָדֵ֑שׁ desert beh-ka-DAYSH וַתָּ֤מָת of va-TA-mote שָׁם֙ Zin shahm מִרְיָ֔ם in meer-YAHM וַתִּקָּבֵ֖ר the va-tee-ka-VARE שָֽׁם׃ first shahm -
וְלֹא there veh-LOH הָ֥יָה was HA-ya מַ֖יִם no MA-yeem לָֽעֵדָ֑ה water la-ay-DA וַיִּקָּ֣הֲל֔וּ for va-yee-KA-huh-LOO עַל the al מֹשֶׁ֖ה congregation: moh-SHEH וְעַֽל and veh-AL אַהֲרֹֽן׃ they ah-huh-RONE -
וַיָּ֥רֶב the va-YA-rev הָעָ֖ם people ha-AM עִם chode eem מֹשֶׁ֑ה with moh-SHEH וַיֹּֽאמְר֣וּ Moses, va-yoh-meh-ROO לֵאמֹ֔ר and lay-MORE וְל֥וּ spake, veh-LOO גָוַ֛עְנוּ saying, ɡa-VA-noo בִּגְוַ֥ע Would beeɡ-VA אַחֵ֖ינוּ God ah-HAY-noo לִפְנֵ֥י that leef-NAY יְהוָֽה׃ we yeh-VA -
וְלָמָ֤ה why veh-la-MA הֲבֵאתֶם֙ have huh-vay-TEM אֶת ye et קְהַ֣ל brought keh-HAHL יְהוָ֔ה up yeh-VA אֶל el הַמִּדְבָּ֖ר the ha-meed-BAHR הַזֶּ֑ה congregation ha-ZEH לָמ֣וּת of la-MOOT שָׁ֔ם the shahm אֲנַ֖חְנוּ Lord uh-NAHK-noo וּבְעִירֵֽנוּ׃ into oo-veh-ee-ray-NOO -
וְלָמָ֤ה wherefore veh-la-MA הֶֽעֱלִיתֻ֙נוּ֙ have heh-ay-lee-TOO-NOO מִמִּצְרַ֔יִם ye mee-meets-RA-yeem לְהָבִ֣יא made leh-ha-VEE אֹתָ֔נוּ us oh-TA-noo אֶל to el הַמָּק֥וֹם come ha-ma-KOME הָרָ֖ע up ha-RA הַזֶּ֑ה out ha-ZEH לֹ֣א׀ of loh מְק֣וֹם Egypt, meh-KOME זֶ֗רַע to ZEH-ra וּתְאֵנָ֤ה bring oo-teh-ay-NA וְגֶ֙פֶן֙ us veh-ɡEH-FEN וְרִמּ֔וֹן in veh-REE-mone וּמַ֥יִם oo-MA-yeem אַ֖יִן unto AH-yeen לִשְׁתּֽוֹת׃ this leesh-TOTE -
וַיָּבֹא֩ Moses va-ya-VOH מֹשֶׁ֨ה and moh-SHEH וְאַֽהֲרֹ֜ן Aaron veh-ah-huh-RONE מִפְּנֵ֣י went mee-peh-NAY הַקָּהָ֗ל from ha-ka-HAHL אֶל the el פֶּ֙תַח֙ presence PEH-TAHK אֹ֣הֶל of OH-hel מוֹעֵ֔ד the moh-ADE וַֽיִּפְּל֖וּ assembly va-yee-peh-LOO עַל unto al פְּנֵיהֶ֑ם the peh-nay-HEM וַיֵּרָ֥א door va-yay-RA כְבוֹד of heh-VODE יְהוָ֖ה the yeh-VA אֲלֵיהֶֽם׃ tabernacle uh-lay-HEM -
וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר the vai-da-BARE יְהוָ֖ה Lord yeh-VA אֶל spake el מֹשֶׁ֥ה unto moh-SHEH לֵּאמֹֽר׃ Moses, lay-MORE -
קַ֣ח kahk אֶת the et הַמַּטֶּ֗ה rod, ha-ma-TEH וְהַקְהֵ֤ל and veh-hahk-HALE אֶת gather et הָֽעֵדָה֙ thou ha-ay-DA אַתָּה֙ the ah-TA וְאַֽהֲרֹ֣ן assembly veh-ah-huh-RONE אָחִ֔יךָ together, ah-HEE-ha וְדִבַּרְתֶּ֧ם veh-dee-bahr-TEM אֶל thou, el הַסֶּ֛לַע and ha-SEH-la לְעֵֽינֵיהֶ֖ם Aaron leh-ay-nay-HEM וְנָתַ֣ן thy veh-na-TAHN מֵימָ֑יו brother, may-MAV וְהֽוֹצֵאתָ֙ and veh-hoh-tsay-TA לָהֶ֥ם speak la-HEM מַ֙יִם֙ ye MA-YEEM מִן unto meen הַסֶּ֔לַע the ha-SEH-la וְהִשְׁקִיתָ֥ rock veh-heesh-kee-TA אֶת before et הָֽעֵדָ֖ה their ha-ay-DA וְאֶת eyes; veh-ET בְּעִירָֽם׃ and beh-ee-RAHM -
וַיִּקַּ֥ח Moses va-yee-KAHK מֹשֶׁ֛ה took moh-SHEH אֶת et הַמַּטֶּ֖ה the ha-ma-TEH מִלִּפְנֵ֣י rod mee-leef-NAY יְהוָ֑ה from yeh-VA כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֖ר before ka-uh-SHER צִוָּֽהוּ׃ the tsee-wa-HOO -
וַיַּקְהִ֜לוּ Moses va-yahk-HEE-loo מֹשֶׁ֧ה and moh-SHEH וְאַֽהֲרֹ֛ן Aaron veh-ah-huh-RONE אֶת gathered et הַקָּהָ֖ל the ha-ka-HAHL אֶל congregation el פְּנֵ֣י together peh-NAY הַסָּ֑לַע ha-SA-la וַיֹּ֣אמֶר before va-YOH-mer לָהֶ֗ם la-HEM שִׁמְעוּ the sheem-OO נָא֙ rock, na הַמֹּרִ֔ים and ha-moh-REEM הֲמִן he huh-MEEN הַסֶּ֣לַע said ha-SEH-la הַזֶּ֔ה unto ha-ZEH נוֹצִ֥יא them, noh-TSEE לָכֶ֖ם Hear la-HEM מָֽיִם׃ now, MA-yeem -
וַיָּ֨רֶם Moses va-YA-rem מֹשֶׁ֜ה lifted moh-SHEH אֶת up et יָד֗וֹ ya-DOH וַיַּ֧ךְ his va-YAHK אֶת hand, et הַסֶּ֛לַע and ha-SEH-la בְּמַטֵּ֖הוּ with beh-ma-TAY-hoo פַּֽעֲמָ֑יִם his pa-uh-MA-yeem וַיֵּֽצְאוּ֙ rod va-yay-tseh-OO מַ֣יִם he MA-yeem רַבִּ֔ים smote ra-BEEM וַתֵּ֥שְׁתְּ va-TAY-shet הָֽעֵדָ֖ה the ha-ay-DA וּבְעִירָֽם׃ rock oo-veh-ee-RAHM -
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר the va-YOH-mer יְהוָה֮ Lord yeh-VA אֶל spake el מֹשֶׁ֣ה unto moh-SHEH וְאֶֽל Moses veh-EL אַהֲרֹן֒ and ah-huh-RONE יַ֚עַן Aaron, YA-an לֹֽא Because loh הֶאֱמַנְתֶּ֣ם ye heh-ay-mahn-TEM בִּ֔י believed bee לְהַ֨קְדִּישֵׁ֔נִי me leh-HAHK-dee-SHAY-nee לְעֵינֵ֖י not, leh-ay-NAY בְּנֵ֣י to beh-NAY יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל sanctify yees-ra-ALE לָכֵ֗ן me la-HANE לֹ֤א in loh תָבִ֙יאוּ֙ the ta-VEE-OO אֶת eyes et הַקָּהָ֣ל of ha-ka-HAHL הַזֶּ֔ה the ha-ZEH אֶל children el הָאָ֖רֶץ of ha-AH-rets אֲשֶׁר Israel, uh-SHER נָתַ֥תִּי therefore na-TA-tee לָהֶֽם׃ ye la-HEM -
הֵ֚מָּה is HAY-ma מֵ֣י the may מְרִיבָ֔ה water meh-ree-VA אֲשֶׁר of uh-SHER רָב֥וּ Meribah; ra-VOO בְנֵֽי because veh-NAY יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל the yees-ra-ALE אֶת children et יְהוָ֑ה of yeh-VA וַיִּקָּדֵ֖שׁ Israel va-yee-ka-DAYSH בָּֽם׃ strove bahm -
וַיִּשְׁלַ֨ח Moses va-yeesh-LAHK מֹשֶׁ֧ה sent moh-SHEH מַלְאָכִ֛ים messengers mahl-ah-HEEM מִקָּדֵ֖שׁ from mee-ka-DAYSH אֶל Kadesh el מֶ֣לֶךְ unto MEH-lek אֱד֑וֹם the ay-DOME כֹּ֤ה king koh אָמַר֙ of ah-MAHR אָחִ֣יךָ Edom, ah-HEE-ha יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל Thus yees-ra-ALE אַתָּ֣ה saith ah-TA יָדַ֔עְתָּ thy ya-DA-ta אֵ֥ת brother ate כָּל Israel, kahl הַתְּלָאָ֖ה Thou ha-teh-la-AH אֲשֶׁ֥ר knowest uh-SHER מְצָאָֽתְנוּ׃ meh-tsa-AH-teh-noo -
וַיֵּֽרְד֤וּ our va-yay-reh-DOO אֲבֹתֵ֙ינוּ֙ fathers uh-voh-TAY-NOO מִצְרַ֔יְמָה went meets-RA-ma וַנֵּ֥שֶׁב down va-NAY-shev בְּמִצְרַ֖יִם into beh-meets-RA-yeem יָמִ֣ים Egypt, ya-MEEM רַבִּ֑ים and ra-BEEM וַיָּרֵ֥עוּ we va-ya-RAY-oo לָ֛נוּ have LA-noo מִצְרַ֖יִם dwelt meets-RA-yeem וְלַֽאֲבֹתֵֽינוּ׃ in veh-LA-uh-voh-TAY-noo -
וַנִּצְעַ֤ק when va-neets-AK אֶל we el יְהוָה֙ cried yeh-VA וַיִּשְׁמַ֣ע unto va-yeesh-MA קֹלֵ֔נוּ the koh-LAY-noo וַיִּשְׁלַ֣ח Lord, va-yeesh-LAHK מַלְאָ֔ךְ he mahl-AK וַיֹּֽצִאֵ֖נוּ heard va-yoh-tsee-A-noo מִמִּצְרָ֑יִם our mee-meets-RA-yeem וְהִנֵּה֙ voice, veh-hee-NAY אֲנַ֣חְנוּ and uh-NAHK-noo בְקָדֵ֔שׁ sent veh-ka-DAYSH עִ֖יר an eer קְצֵ֥ה angel, keh-TSAY גְבוּלֶֽךָ׃ and ɡeh-voo-LEH-ha -
נַעְבְּרָה us na-beh-RA נָּ֣א pass, na בְאַרְצֶ֗ךָ I veh-ar-TSEH-ha לֹ֤א pray loh נַֽעֲבֹר֙ thee, na-uh-VORE בְּשָׂדֶ֣ה through beh-sa-DEH וּבְכֶ֔רֶם thy oo-veh-HEH-rem וְלֹ֥א country: veh-LOH נִשְׁתֶּ֖ה we neesh-TEH מֵ֣י will may בְאֵ֑ר not veh-ARE דֶּ֧רֶךְ pass DEH-rek הַמֶּ֣לֶךְ through ha-MEH-lek נֵלֵ֗ךְ the nay-LAKE לֹ֤א fields, loh נִטֶּה֙ or nee-TEH יָמִ֣ין through ya-MEEN וּשְׂמֹ֔אול the oo-seh-MOVE-l עַ֥ד vineyards, ad אֲשֶֽׁר neither uh-SHER נַעֲבֹ֖ר will na-uh-VORE גְּבֻלֶֽךָ׃ we ɡeh-voo-LEH-ha -
וַיֹּ֤אמֶר Edom va-YOH-mer אֵלָיו֙ said ay-lav אֱד֔וֹם unto ay-DOME לֹ֥א him, loh תַֽעֲבֹ֖ר Thou ta-uh-VORE בִּ֑י shalt bee פֶּן not pen בַּחֶ֖רֶב pass ba-HEH-rev אֵצֵ֥א by ay-TSAY לִקְרָאתֶֽךָ׃ me, leek-ra-TEH-ha -
וַיֹּֽאמְר֨וּ the va-yoh-meh-ROO אֵלָ֥יו children ay-LAV בְּנֵֽי of beh-NAY יִשְׂרָאֵל֮ Israel yees-ra-ALE בַּֽמְסִלָּ֣ה said bahm-see-LA נַֽעֲלֶה֒ unto na-uh-LEH וְאִם him, veh-EEM מֵימֶ֤יךָ We may-MAY-ha נִשְׁתֶּה֙ will neesh-TEH אֲנִ֣י go uh-NEE וּמִקְנַ֔י by oo-meek-NAI וְנָֽתַתִּ֖י the veh-na-ta-TEE מִכְרָ֑ם high meek-RAHM רַ֥ק way: rahk אֵין and ane דָּבָ֖ר if da-VAHR בְּרַגְלַ֥י I beh-rahɡ-LAI אֶֽעֱבֹֽרָה׃ and EH-ay-VOH-ra -
וַיֹּ֖אמֶר he va-YOH-mer לֹ֣א said, loh תַֽעֲבֹ֑ר Thou ta-uh-VORE וַיֵּצֵ֤א shalt va-yay-TSAY אֱדוֹם֙ not ay-DOME לִקְרָאת֔וֹ go leek-ra-TOH בְּעַ֥ם through. beh-AM כָּבֵ֖ד And ka-VADE וּבְיָ֥ד Edom oo-veh-YAHD חֲזָקָֽה׃ came huh-za-KA -
וַיְמָאֵ֣ן׀ Edom vai-ma-ANE אֱד֗וֹם refused ay-DOME נְתֹן֙ to neh-TONE אֶת give et יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל yees-ra-ALE עֲבֹ֖ר Israel uh-VORE בִּגְבֻל֑וֹ passage beeɡ-voo-LOH וַיֵּ֥ט through va-YATE יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל his yees-ra-ALE מֵֽעָלָֽיו׃ border: MAY-ah-LAIV -
וַיִּסְע֖וּ the va-yees-OO מִקָּדֵ֑שׁ children mee-ka-DAYSH וַיָּבֹ֧אוּ of va-ya-VOH-oo בְנֵֽי Israel, veh-NAY יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל even yees-ra-ALE כָּל the kahl הָֽעֵדָ֖ה whole ha-ay-DA הֹ֥ר congregation, hore הָהָֽר׃ journeyed ha-HAHR -
וַיֹּ֧אמֶר the va-YOH-mer יְהוָ֛ה Lord yeh-VA אֶל spake el מֹשֶׁ֥ה unto moh-SHEH וְאֶֽל Moses veh-EL אַהֲרֹ֖ן and ah-huh-RONE בְּהֹ֣ר Aaron beh-HORE הָהָ֑ר in ha-HAHR עַל mount al גְּב֥וּל Hor, ɡeh-VOOL אֶֽרֶץ by EH-rets אֱד֖וֹם the ay-DOME לֵאמֹֽר׃ coast lay-MORE -
יֵֽאָסֵ֤ף shall yay-ah-SAFE אַֽהֲרֹן֙ be ah-huh-RONE אֶל gathered el עַמָּ֔יו unto ah-MAV כִּ֣י his kee לֹ֤א people: loh יָבֹא֙ for ya-VOH אֶל he el הָאָ֔רֶץ shall ha-AH-rets אֲשֶׁ֥ר not uh-SHER נָתַ֖תִּי enter na-TA-tee לִבְנֵ֣י into leev-NAY יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל the yees-ra-ALE עַ֛ל land al אֲשֶׁר which uh-SHER מְרִיתֶ֥ם I meh-ree-TEM אֶת have et פִּ֖י given pee לְמֵ֥י unto leh-MAY מְרִיבָֽה׃ the meh-ree-VA -
קַ֚ח kahk אֶֽת Aaron et אַהֲרֹ֔ן and ah-huh-RONE וְאֶת Eleazar veh-ET אֶלְעָזָ֖ר his el-ah-ZAHR בְּנ֑וֹ son, beh-NOH וְהַ֥עַל and veh-HA-al אֹתָ֖ם bring oh-TAHM הֹ֥ר them hore הָהָֽר׃ up ha-HAHR -
וְהַפְשֵׁ֤ט strip veh-hahf-SHATE אֶֽת et אַהֲרֹן֙ Aaron ah-huh-RONE אֶת et בְּגָדָ֔יו of beh-ɡa-DAV וְהִלְבַּשְׁתָּ֖ם his veh-heel-bahsh-TAHM אֶת garments, et אֶלְעָזָ֣ר and el-ah-ZAHR בְּנ֑וֹ put beh-NOH וְאַֽהֲרֹ֥ן them veh-ah-huh-RONE יֵֽאָסֵ֖ף upon yay-ah-SAFE וּמֵ֥ת oo-MATE שָֽׁם׃ Eleazar shahm -
וַיַּ֣עַשׂ Moses va-YA-as מֹשֶׁ֔ה did moh-SHEH כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֖ר as ka-uh-SHER צִוָּ֣ה the tsee-WA יְהוָ֑ה Lord yeh-VA וַֽיַּעֲלוּ֙ commanded: va-ya-uh-LOO אֶל and el הֹ֣ר they hore הָהָ֔ר went ha-HAHR לְעֵינֵ֖י up leh-ay-NAY כָּל into kahl הָֽעֵדָֽה׃ mount HA-ay-DA -
וַיַּפְשֵׁט֩ Moses va-yahf-SHATE מֹשֶׁ֨ה stripped moh-SHEH אֶֽת et אַהֲרֹ֜ן Aaron ah-huh-RONE אֶת et בְּגָדָ֗יו of beh-ɡa-DAV וַיַּלְבֵּ֤שׁ his va-yahl-BAYSH אֹתָם֙ garments, oh-TAHM אֶת and et אֶלְעָזָ֣ר put el-ah-ZAHR בְּנ֔וֹ them beh-NOH וַיָּ֧מָת upon va-YA-mote אַֽהֲרֹ֛ן ah-huh-RONE שָׁ֖ם shahm בְּרֹ֣אשׁ Eleazar beh-ROHSH הָהָ֑ר his ha-HAHR וַיֵּ֧רֶד son; va-YAY-red מֹשֶׁ֛ה and moh-SHEH וְאֶלְעָזָ֖ר Aaron veh-el-ah-ZAHR מִן died meen הָהָֽר׃ there ha-HAHR -
וַיִּרְאוּ֙ when va-yeer-OO כָּל all kahl הָ֣עֵדָ֔ה the HA-ay-DA כִּ֥י congregation kee גָוַ֖ע saw ɡa-VA אַֽהֲרֹ֑ן that ah-huh-RONE וַיִּבְכּ֤וּ Aaron va-yeev-KOO אֶֽת was et אַהֲרֹן֙ dead, ah-huh-RONE שְׁלֹשִׁ֣ים they sheh-loh-SHEEM י֔וֹם mourned yome כֹּ֖ל for kole בֵּ֥ית bate יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ Aaron yees-ra-ALE
