ಆಗ ಯಾಜಕನು ತನ್ನ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಒಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ತನ್ನ ಶರೀರವನ್ನು ನೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಳೆಯ ಬೇಕು; ಆಮೇಲೆ ಪಾಳೆಯದೊಳಗೆ ಬರಬೇಕು. ಯಾಜ ಕನು ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲದ ವರೆಗೆ ಅಶುದ್ಧನಾಗಿರುವನು.
