ತರುವಾಯ ಯೋಹಾನನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಆತನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು--ನಾವು ಮತ್ತು ಫರಿಸಾಯರು ಬಹಳ ಸಾರಿ ಉಪವಾಸಮಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ; ಆದರೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಯಾಕೆ ಉಪವಾಸಮಾಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದರು.
