ಆಗ ಪಸ್ಕದ ಕುರಿಯು ವಧಿಸಲ್ಪಡಬೇಕಾಗಿದ್ದ ಹುಳಿಯಿಲ್ಲದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯ ದಿನವು ಬಂದಿತು.

ಹುಳಿಯಿಲ್ಲದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯ ಹಬ್ಬದ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ದಿವಸ ಪಸ್ಕದ ಕುರಿಯನ್ನು ಅವರು ಕೊಯ್ದಾಗ ಆತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಆತನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ಪಸ್ಕದ ಊಟಮಾಡು ವಂತೆ ನಾವು ಎಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಬೇಕನ್ನುತ್ತೀ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದರು.

ಆದದರಿಂದ ನೀವು ಹುಳಿ ಇಲ್ಲದ ವರಾದ ಕಾರಣ ಹೊಸ ಕಣಿಕವಾಗಿರುವಂತೆ ಆ ಹಳೇ ಹುಳಿಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಿರಿ. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಪಸ್ಕವಾಗಿರುವ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನೇ ನಮಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಯಜ್ಞಾರ್ಪಿತ ನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
