ಶಿಶುವಿಗೆ ಸುನ್ನತಿ ಮಾಡಿಸುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಎಂಟು ದಿನಗಳು ಕಳೆದ ಮೇಲೆ ಆತನನ್ನು ಗರ್ಭಧರಿಸು ವದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮುಂಚಿತವಾಗಿ ದೂತನು ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟಂತೆಯೇ ಆತನು ಯೇಸು ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟನು.
