ಇದಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಆತನು ಯೆರಿಕೋವಿನ ಸವಿಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಒಬ್ಬಾನೊಬ್ಬ ಕುರುಡನು ದಾರಿಯ ಬದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂತುಕೊಂಡು ಭಿಕ್ಷೆ ಬೇಡು ತ್ತಿದ್ದನು;
