ಇದಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವರು ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ ಆತನು ಒಂದಾನೊಂದು ಹಳ್ಳಿಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿದನು; ಆಗ ಮಾರ್ಥಳೆಂಬ ಒಬ್ಬ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು ಆತನನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಮನೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಅಂಗೀಕರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಳು.

ಈ ಬೋಧನೆಯನ್ನು ತಾರದಿರುವ ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದರೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ಮನೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಸೇರಿಸಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡಿರಿ; ಅವನಿಗೆ ವಂದನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಬೇಡಿರಿ.
