Leviticus 25:9
ಇದಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಏಳನೆಯ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಹತ್ತನೆಯ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಐವತ್ತನೇ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕೋತ್ಸವಕ್ಕೆ ತುತೂರಿಯನ್ನು ಊದಿಸ ಬೇಕು; ಪ್ರಾಯಶ್ಚಿತ್ತದ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇಶದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಡೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತುತೂರಿಯನ್ನು ಊದಿಸಬೇಕು.

ಹೀಗೆ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸಭೆಯ ಗುಡಾರದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಗೂ ಪ್ರಾಯಶ್ಚಿತ್ತವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ಮುಗಿಸಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವನು ಒಂದು ಜೀವವುಳ್ಳ ಆಡನ್ನು ತರಬೇಕು.
