Leviticus 16:26
ಪಾಪ ಪಶುವಿಗಾಗಿ ಆಡನ್ನು ಹೋಗಲು ಬಿಟ್ಟ ವನು ತನ್ನ ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ಒಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ತನ್ನ ಶರೀರ ವನ್ನು ನೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಳೆದುಕೊಂಡ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವನು ಪಾಳೆಯದೊಳಕ್ಕೆ ಬರಬೇಕು.

ಆರೋನನು ಆ ಜೀವವುಳ್ಳ ಆಡಿನ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ತನ್ನ ಎರಡೂ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಾಪಗಳಲ್ಲಿರುವ ದ್ರೋಹಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅರಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಆಡಿನ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಇರಿಸಿ ಯೋಗ್ಯನಾದ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಅದನ್ನು ಅಡವಿಯೊಳಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಬಿಡಬೇಕು.

ಯಾವನಾದರು ಆ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಿದರೆ ಅಶುದ್ಧ ನಾಗಿರುವನು, ತನ್ನ ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ಒಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ನೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ನಾನಮಾಡಬೇಕು, ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲದ ವರೆಗೆ ಅಶುದ್ಧನಾಗಿರುವನು.

ಶುದ್ಧವಾಗುವದಕ್ಕಿರುವವನು ತನ್ನ ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ತೊಳೆದುಕೊಂಡವನಾಗಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೂದಲನ್ನು ಕ್ಷೌರ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಶುದ್ಧನಾಗುವಂತೆ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ನೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಳೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು; ತರುವಾಯ ಅವನು ಪಾಳೆಯ ದೊಳಗೆ ಬಂದು ತನ್ನ ಡೇರೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಏಳು ದಿನಗಳ ವರೆಗೆ ಕಾಯಬೇಕು.
Leviticus 11:25
ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಅವುಗಳ ಶವವನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತರೆ ತನ್ನ ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ಒಗೆಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲದ ವರೆಗೂ ಅಶುದ್ಧನಾಗಿರುವನು.
