ಅವನು ಪ್ರಾಯಶ್ಚಿತ್ತಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿರುವಾಗ ತನಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ತನ್ನ ಮನೆಯ ವರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರ ಸಭೆ ಯವರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಪ್ರಾಯಶ್ಚಿತ್ತಮಾಡಿ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬರುವ ತನಕ ಸಭೆಯ ಗುಡಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಾದರೂ ಇರಬಾರದು.

ಆದರೆ ಪಾಪ ಪಶುವಿಗಾಗಿ ಚೀಟು ಬಿದ್ದ ಆ ಆಡನ್ನು ತನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಾಯಶ್ಚಿತ್ತಮಾಡುವದ ಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಜೀವವಾಗಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಪಾಪ ಪಶುವಾಗಿ ಕಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಗುವಂತೆ ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಿಡಬೇಕು.
Exodus 34:3
ಆದರೆ ಯಾರೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆ ಬರಬಾರದು, ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಮೇಲೆ ಎಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಯಾರೂ ಕಾಣಿಸಬಾರದು, ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಆ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಎದುರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕುರಿ ದನಗಳು ಸಹ ಮೇಯ ಬಾರದು.
