ಆಗ ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬ ದೂತನು ಆಲಯದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಬಂದು ಮೇಘದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೂತಿದ್ದಾತನಿಗೆ--ನಿನಗೆ ಕೊಯ್ಯುವ ಕಾಲ ಬಂದಿರುವದರಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನ ಕುಡುಗೋಲನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿ ಕೊಯ್ಯಿ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಪೈರು ಮಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಮಹಾಶಬ್ದದಿಂದ ಕೂಗಿದನು.

ಇದಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ನಾನು ನೋಡಿದಾಗ ಇಗೋ, ಪರಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸಾಕ್ಷೀ ಗುಡಾರದ ಆಲಯವು ತೆರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು.

ಆಗ ಒಂದು ಬಿಳೀ ಮೇಘವನ್ನೂ ಆ ಮೇಘದ ಮೇಲೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯ ಕುಮಾರನಂತಿದ್ದ ಒಬ್ಬಾತನು ಕೂತಿರುವುದನ್ನೂ ನಾನು ಕಂಡೆನು; ಆತನ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಂಗಾರದ ಕಿರೀಟವಿತ್ತು; ಆತನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹದವಾದ ಕುಡುಗೋಲು ಇತ್ತು.

ಇದು ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ಮೃಗದ ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅದರ ಮುಂದೆಯೇ ನಡಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಮರಣಕರವಾದ ಗಾಯ ವಾಸಿಯಾದ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ಮೃಗಕ್ಕೆ ಭೂಲೋಕವೂ ಭೂನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೂ ಆರಾಧಿಸು ವಂತೆ ಇದು ಮಾಡುವಂಥದ್ದಾಗಿದೆ.
ಪ್ರಕಟನೆ 6:10
ಅವರು--ಓ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧನೂ ಸತ್ಯವಂತನೂ ಆಗಿರುವಾತನೇ, ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ವಾಸಿಸುವವರು ನಮ್ಮ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಸುರಿಸಿದ್ದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನೀನು ಎಷ್ಟು ಕಾಲದವರೆಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯವಿಚಾರಿಸದೆಯೂ ಪ್ರತಿದಂಡನೆ ಮಾಡದೆಯೂ ಇರುವಿ ಎಂದು ಮಹಾಶಬ್ದದಿಂದ ಕೂಗುತ್ತಾ ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ಅನ್ಯ ಜನರಿಗೆ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯಾಗುವಂತೆ ಸುವಾರ್ತೆಯನ್ನು ಹೇಳುವ ನಮಗೆ ಅವರು ಅಡ್ಡಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಹೀಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಪರಿಪೂರ್ಣ ಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಆದರೆ ದೇವರ ಕೋಪವು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗುತ್ತಾ ಬಂತು.

ಅಬ್ರಾ ಮನು ಕರ್ತನಲ್ಲಿ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಟ್ಟನು. ಆತನು ಅದನ್ನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ನೀತಿ ಎಂದು ಎಣಿಸಿದನು.
