Psalm 46:9
ಯುದ್ಧಗಳನ್ನು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಅಂತ್ಯದ ವರೆಗೆ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿ ಬಿಲ್ಲನ್ನು ಮುರಿದು ಭಲ್ಲೆಯನ್ನು ಕಡಿದು ತುಂಡುಮಾಡಿ ರಥಗಳನ್ನು ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ಸುಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.

ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನು ಯೆಹೋಶುವನಿಗೆಅವರಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಡಬೇಡ; ನಾಳೆ ಇಷ್ಟು ಹೊತ್ತಿಗೆ ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮುಂದೆ ಕೊಲ್ಲಲ್ಪ ಡುವಂತೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಡುವೆನು. ನೀನು ಅವರ ಕುದುರೆಗಳ ಹಿಂಗಾಲಿನ ನರವನ್ನು ಕೊಯಿದು ಅವರ ರಥಗಳನ್ನು ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ಸುಟ್ಟುಬಿಡಬೇಕು ಅಂದನು.

ಆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳು ಹೋಗಿ, ಆಯುಧಗಳಾದ ಗುರಾಣಿ ಗಳನ್ನು ಖೇಡ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ಬಿಲ್ಲುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಬಾಣಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕೈದೊಣ್ಣೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಭಲ್ಲೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಬೆಂಕಿಹಚ್ಚಿ ಸುಡುವರು; ಅವರು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಏಳು ವರ್ಷಗಳು ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ಸುಡುವರು.
