ಪಾಪ ಬಲಿಗಾಗಿ ಒಂದು ಮೇಕೆ ಮರಿಯಲ್ಲದೆ ಪ್ರಾಯಶ್ಚಿತ್ತದ ಪಾಪ ಬಲಿಯನ್ನೂ ನಿತ್ಯ ದಹನಬಲಿಯನ್ನೂ ಅದರ ಆಹಾರ ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆಯನ್ನೂ ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕ ಪಾನದ ಅರ್ಪಣೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಬೇಕು.

ಯೆಶಾಯ 53:10
ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ಆತನನ್ನು ಜಜ್ಜುವದು ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಮೆಚ್ಚಿಕೆ ಯಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಆತನು (ದೇವರು) ಆತನನ್ನು ಸಂಕಟಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಪಡಿಸಿದನು; ನೀನು ಆತನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಪಾಪ ಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಬಲಿಯನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುವಾಗ ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಸಂತಾನವನ್ನು ನೋಡುವನು. ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ದಿವಸ ಗಳನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುವನು, ಕರ್ತನ ಸಂತೋಷವು ಆತನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಫಲವಾಗುವದು.

ಮೊದಲು ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಪಾಪಪರಿಹಾರಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಆಮೇಲೆ ಜನರ ಪಾಪ ಪರಿಹಾರಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಯಜ್ಞಾರ್ಪಣೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಮಹಾ ಯಾಜಕರಂತೆ ಈತನು ಪ್ರತಿನಿತ್ಯವೂ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸ ಬೇಕಾದ ಅವಶ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಈತನು ತನ್ನನ್ನೇ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಒಂದೇ ಸಾರಿ ಆ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ಮುಗಿಸಿದನು.
