ಆಗ ಮೋಶೆಯೂ ಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಎಲ್ಲಾಜಾರನೂ ಮೋವಾಬಿನ ಬೈಲುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆರಿಕೋವಿಗೆದುರಾಗಿ ಯೊರ್ದನಿನ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ

ಅವರು ಸೆರೆಯವರನ್ನೂ ಲೂಟಿಯನ್ನೂ ಸುಲಿಗೆ ಯನ್ನೂ ಮೋಶೆ ಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಎಲ್ಲಾಜಾರನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಸಭೆಯವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಯೆರಿಕೋ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಎದುರಾಗಿ ಯೊರ್ದನ್ ನದಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಇರುವ ಮೋವಾಬಿನ ಬೈಲುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದ ಪಾಳೆಯ ದೊಳಗೆ ತಂದರು.

ಯೊರ್ದನಿನ ಈಚೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇತ್ಪೇಯೋರಿಗೆ ಎದುರಾಗಿರುವ ತಗ್ಗಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಷ್ಬೋನಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸ ಮಾಡಿದ ಅಮೋರಿಯರ ಅರಸನಾದ ಸೀಹೋನನ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ನುಡಿದ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳೂ ನಿಯಮಗಳೂ ನ್ಯಾಯಗಳೂ ಇವೇ. ಆ ಸೀಹೋನನನ್ನು ಮೋಶೆಯೂ ಇಸ್ರಾ ಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳೂ ಐಗುಪ್ತದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೊರಟ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೊಡೆದರು.
ಧರ್ಮೋಪದೇಶಕಾಂಡ 34:1
ಆಗ ಮೋಶೆ ಮೋವಾಬಿನ ಬೈಲಿನಿಂದ ನೆಬೋ ಪರ್ವತಕ್ಕೆ ಯೆರಿಕೋವಿಗೆ ಎದುರಾಗಿರುವ ಪಿಸ್ಗಾದ ಶಿಖರಕ್ಕೆ ಏರಿ ಹೋದನು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ದೇಶವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ದಾನಿನ ವರೆಗಿರುವ ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದನ್ನೂ

ಆತನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಮೋವಾಬಿನ ದೇಶದ ತಗ್ಗಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇತ್ಪಯೋರಿಗೆ ಎದುರಾಗಿ ಹೂಣಿಟ್ಟನು; ಅವನ ಸಮಾಧಿ ಇಂದಿನ ವರೆಗೆ ಯಾರಿಗೂ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ.

ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಮೋವಾಬಿನ ಬೈಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮೋಶೆಯ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಮೂವತ್ತು ದಿವಸ ಅತ್ತರು. ಈ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮೋಶೆಯ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾದ ಗೋಳಾಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಳುವ ದಿವಸಗಳು ಮುಗಿದವು.
