ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಸಭೆಯೆಲ್ಲಾ ಜಿನ್ ಎಂಬ ಅರಣ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಮೊದಲನೇ ತಿಂಗಳಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದರು; ಜನರು ಕಾದೇಶಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವಾಗ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಮಿರ್ಯಾಮಳು ಸತ್ತು ಅಲ್ಲೇ ಹೂಣಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಳು.

ನೀವು ಜಿನ್ ಎಂಬ ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯ ಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸಭೆಯ ವಾಗ್ವಾದದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅವರಿಗೆದು ರಾಗಿ ನೀರಿನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡದೆ ನನ್ನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನು ವಿಾರಿದಿರಿ. ಆ ನೀರು ಅಂದರೆ ಜಿನ್ ಎಂಬ ಅರಣ್ಯದ ಕಾದೇಶಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಮೆರೀಬಾದ ನೀರು ಅಂದನು.
ಅರಣ್ಯಕಾಂಡ 26:59
ಆದರೆ ಕೆಹಾತನು ಅಮ್ರಾಮನನ್ನು ಪಡೆದನು. ಅಮ್ರಾಮನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯ ಹೆಸರು ಯೋಕೆಬೆದಳು. ಆಕೆಯು ಐಗುಪ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ಲೇವಿಯಿಂದ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ಮಗಳು. ಆಕೆಯು ಅಮ್ರಾಮನಿಗೆ ಆರೋನನನ್ನೂ ಮೋಶೆ ಯನ್ನೂ ಅವರ ಸಹೋದರಿಯಾದ ಮಿರ್ಯಾಮಳನ್ನೂ ಹೆತ್ತಳು.

ಮೋಶೆಯು ಮದುವೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ಐಥೋಪ್ಯಳಾದ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಮಿರ್ಯಾಮಳೂ ಆರೋನನೂ ಅವನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಮಾತ ನಾಡಿದರು. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವನು ಐಥೋಪ್ಯಳಾದ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯನ್ನು ಮದುವೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದನು.
ಮಿಕ 6:4
ನಾನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದೊಳಗಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿ, ದಾಸರ ಮನೆಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ವಿಮೋ ಚಿಸಿ, ಮೋಶೆಯನ್ನೂ ಆರೋನನನ್ನೂ ಮಿರಿಯಾಮ ಳನ್ನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದೆನು.

ಆಗ ನೀವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು--ನಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದಾಗಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸೋಣ, ಅವರು ನಮಗೆ ಆ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸಿ ನೋಡಿ ನಾವು ಮೇಲೆ ಹೋಗತಕ್ಕ ಮಾರ್ಗದ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನಾವು ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸುವ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನಮಗೆ ಸಮಾಚಾರವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಲಿ ಅಂದಿರಿ.
ಅರಣ್ಯಕಾಂಡ 20:16
ಆದಕಾರಣ ನಾವು ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಕೂಗಿದೆವು; ಆತನು ನಮ್ಮ ಧ್ವನಿಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ದೂತನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ತಂದನು; ಇಗೋ, ನಾವು ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇರೆಯ ಕಡೇ ಊರಾದ ಕಾದೇಶಿನ ಲ್ಲಿದ್ದೇವೆ.
ಅರಣ್ಯಕಾಂಡ 12:15
ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಮಿರ್ಯಾಮಳನ್ನು ಪಾಳೆಯದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಏಳು ದಿವಸ ಮರೆಯಾಗಿಯಿಟ್ಟರು. ಮಿರ್ಯಾಮಳು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಒಳಗೆ ಬರುವ ವರೆಗೆ ಜನರು ಪ್ರಯಾಣ ಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.
ಅರಣ್ಯಕಾಂಡ 12:10
ಆ ಮೇಘವು ಗುಡಾರದ ಮೇಲಿನಿಂದ ತೊಲಗಿ ಹೋಯಿತು; ಆಗ ಇಗೋ, ಮಿರ್ಯಾಮಳು ಹಿಮದ ಹಾಗೆ ಕುಷ್ಠವುಳ್ಳವಳಾದಳು. ಆರೋನನು ಮಿರ್ಯಾಮಳ ಕಡೆಗೆ ನೋಡಿದಾಗ ಇಗೋ, ಅವಳು ಕುಷ್ಠರೋಗಿ ಯಾಗಿದ್ದಳು.

ಆಗ ಅದರ ಅಕ್ಕ ಫರೋಹನ ಮಗಳಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ಹೋಗಿ ಈ ಕೂಸಿಗೆ ಮೊಲೆ ಕೊಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಇಬ್ರಿಯ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರಿಂದ ಒಬ್ಬ ದಾದಿ ಯನ್ನು ನಿನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಕರಕೊಂಡು ಬರಲೋ ಅಂದಳು.

ಕೂಸಿಗೆ ಏನಾಗುವದೋ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿ ಅದರ ಅಕ್ಕ ನಿಂತುಕೊಂಡಳು.
