ಆಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಕ್ರಮಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಸೀನಾಯಿ ಅರಣ್ಯ ದಿಂದ ಪ್ರಯಾಣ ಮಾಡಿದರು; ಮೇಘವು ಪಾರಾನೆಂಬ ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತಿತು.

ಅರಣ್ಯಕಾಂಡ 13:26
ಅವರು ಹೋಗಿ ಮೋಶೆ ಆರೋನರ ಬಳಿಗೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಸಭೆಯ ಬಳಿಗೂ ಪಾರಾನ್ ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಕಾದೇಶಿಗೂ ಬಂದು ಅವರಿಗೂ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಸಭೆಗೂ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿ ಆ ದೇಶದ ಫಲಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ತೋರಿಸಿದರು.
ಅರಣ್ಯಕಾಂಡ 13:3
ಆಗ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಕರ್ತನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯಂತೆ ಪಾರಾನ್ ಅರಣ್ಯ ದಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು. ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಇಸ್ರಾ ಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.

ಹೀಗೆ ಅವರು ಮೊದಲನೇ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಹದಿನಾಲ್ಕನೆಯ ದಿವಸದ ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲ ಸೀನಾಯಿ ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಸ್ಕವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಿದರು. ಕರ್ತನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ್ದೆಲ್ಲಾದರ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಮಾಡಿದರು.

ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಐಗುಪ್ತವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟ ಮೂರನೆಯ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಅದೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೀನಾಯಿ ಅರಣ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದರು.

ಸಮುವೇಲನು ಸತ್ತುಹೋದನು; ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಕೂಡಿಬಂದು ಅವನಿ ಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಗೋಳಾಡಿ ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅವನ ಮನೆ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಹೂಣಿಟ್ಟರು. ದಾವೀದನು ಎದ್ದು ಪಾರಾನ್ ಅರಣ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದನು.
ಧರ್ಮೋಪದೇಶಕಾಂಡ 33:2
ಕರ್ತನು ಸೀನಾಯಿ ಬೆಟ್ಟದಿಂದ ಬಂದನು, ಸೇಯಾರಿನಿಂದ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಉದಯಿಸಿದನು. ಪಾರಾನ್ ಬೆಟ್ಟದಿಂದ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಿಸಿದನು, ಹತ್ತು ಸಾವಿರ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧರ ಸಂಗಡ ಬಂದನು. ಆತನ ಬಲಪಾರ್ಶ್ವದಿಂದ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣವು ಹೊರಟಿತು.

ಆಗ ನೀವು ಹೋರೇಬಿನಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನಮಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನೀವು ಅಮೋರಿಯರ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನೋಡಿದ ಆ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಭಯಂಕರವಾದ ಅರಣ್ಯವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ದಾಟಿ ಕಾದೇಶ್ಬರ್ನೇಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದೆವು.
