ನಾನು ಮಾನ ಸಾಂತರದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ನಿಮಗೆ ನೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಪ್ತಿಸ್ಮ ಮಾಡಿಸುವದು ನಿಜವೇ; ಆದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಬರುವಾತನು ನನಗಿಂತಲೂ ಶಕ್ತನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಆತನ ಕೆರಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊರುವದಕ್ಕೂ ನಾನು ಯೋಗ್ಯನಲ್ಲ; ಆತನು ಪವಿತ್ರಾ ತ್ಮನಿಂದಲೂ ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ನಿಮಗೆ ಬಾಪ್ತಿಸ್ಮ ಮಾಡಿ ಸುವನು.
