ಮುಳ್ಳುಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದ ಬೀಜದವರು ಯಾರಂದರೆ ಅವರು ಕೇಳಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಮುಂದರಿದು ಈ ಜೀವನದ ಚಿಂತೆಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಭೋಗಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಅಡಗಿಸ ಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ಪರಿಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಫಲಿಸದವರು.

ಆದರೆ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವಂತರಾಗ ಬೇಕೆಂದು ಮನಸ್ಸು ಮಾಡುವವರು ಶೋಧನೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಉರ್ಲಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಕೊಂಡು ಅನೇಕ ಬುದ್ಧಿಹೀನತೆಯ ಮತ್ತು ಹಾನಿಕರವಾದ ದುರಾಶೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬೀಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಇಂಥ ಆಶೆಗಳು ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ಸಂಹಾರ ನಾಶನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಳುಗಿಸುತ್ತವೆ.

ಈ ಲೋಕದ ಚಿಂತೆಗಳೂ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯದ ಮೋಸವೂ ಇತರ ವಿಷಯಗಳ ಆಶೆಗಳೂ ಒಳಗೆ ಸೇರಿ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಅಡಗಿಸುವದರಿಂದ ಅದು ನಿಷ್ಫಲವಾಗುವದು.

ನೋಹನ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಗೆ ಇತ್ತೋ ಅದೇ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯಕುಮಾರನ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇರುವದು.

ಅವನು ಬಹಳ ವ್ಯಥೆಗೊಂಡದ್ದನ್ನು ಯೇಸು ನೋಡಿ--ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯ ವಂತರು ದೇವರ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರುವದು ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಕಷ್ಟ.
