ಆದರೂ ಆತನ ಕೀರ್ತಿಯು ಇನ್ನೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ದೂರದವರೆಗೂ ಹರಡಿತು; ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸಮೂಹಗಳು ಆತನ ಉಪದೇಶವನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವದಕ್ಕೂ ತಮ್ಮ ರೋಗಗಳನ್ನು ಆತನಿಂದ ವಾಸಿಮಾಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳು ವದಕ್ಕೂ ಕೂಡಿ ಬಂದರು.

ಆಗ ಆತನು ರೋಗಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಡಿಸಿದ ಆತನ ಅದ್ಭುತ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದ ಜನರ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸಮೂಹವು ಆತನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸುತ್ತಿತ್ತು.
