Leviticus 14:12
ಆಗ ಯಾಜಕನು ಒಂದು ಗಂಡು ಕುರಿಮರಿಯನ್ನೂ ಒಂದು ಸೇರಿನಷ್ಟು ಎಣ್ಣೆಯನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಅಪರಾಧ ಬಲಿಗಾಗಿ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಆಡಿಸುವ ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆಗಾಗಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಎದುರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಆಡಿಸಬೇಕು.

ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಅಶುದ್ಧವಾದ ಯಾವದನ್ನಾದರೂ ಮುಟ್ಟಿದರೆ, ಅಂದರೆ ಅದು ಅಶುದ್ಧ ವಾದ ಮೃಗದ ಹೆಣವಾಗಲಿ ದನದ ಹೆಣವಾಗಲಿ ಹರಿದಾಡುವವುಗಳ ಹೆಣಗಳಾಗಲಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯದಿ ದ್ದರೂ ಅವನು ಅಶುದ್ಧನಾಗಿದ್ದು ಅಪರಾಧಿಯಾಗಿರುವನು.

ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ಆತನನ್ನು ಜಜ್ಜುವದು ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಮೆಚ್ಚಿಕೆ ಯಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಆತನು (ದೇವರು) ಆತನನ್ನು ಸಂಕಟಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಪಡಿಸಿದನು; ನೀನು ಆತನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಪಾಪ ಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಬಲಿಯನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುವಾಗ ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಸಂತಾನವನ್ನು ನೋಡುವನು. ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ದಿವಸ ಗಳನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುವನು, ಕರ್ತನ ಸಂತೋಷವು ಆತನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಫಲವಾಗುವದು.
