ಆದರೆ ಲೇವಿ ಯನ ಗೋತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಯಾವ ಬಾಧ್ಯತೆಯನ್ನು ಕೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ತಾನೇ ಅವರ ಬಾಧ್ಯತೆ.

ಆದರೆ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಲೇವಿಯರ ಗೋತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಯಾವ ಬಾಧ್ಯತೆಯನ್ನೂ ಕೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನ ದಹನ ಬಲಿಗಳೇ ಅವರ ಬಾಧ್ಯತೆಯಾಗಿವೆ.
