Jeremiah 7:27
ಆದದರಿಂದ ನೀನು ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅವ ರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಬೇಕು, ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ನಿನ್ನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಅವರನ್ನು ನೀನು ಕರೆಯುವಿ, ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ನಿನಗೆ ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

ಆದದರಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕತ್ತಿಗೆ ನೇಮಿಸು ವೆನು ನೀವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಕೊಲೆಗೆ ಬೊಗ್ಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿರಿ. ನಾನು ಕರೆಯಲು, ನೀವು ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ; ನಾನು ಮಾತನಾಡಲು ನೀವು ಕೇಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲ; ನನ್ನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದಿರಿ, ನಾನು ಮೆಚ್ಚದ್ದನ್ನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರಿ.
ಯೆಶಾಯ 50:2
ನಾನು ಬಂದಾಗ ಯಾಕೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನೂ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ? ನಾನು ಕರೆದಾಗ ಯಾಕೆ ಯಾರೂ ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ? ನನ್ನ ಹಸ್ತವು ವಿಮೋಚಿಸದಂಥಾ ಮೋಟುಗೈಯೋ? ಇಲ್ಲವೇ ಬಿಡಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಶಕ್ತಿಯಿಲ್ಲವೋ? ಇಗೋ, ನನ್ನ ಗದರಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ನಾನು ಸಮುದ್ರವನ್ನು ಒಣಗಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನಾನು ನದಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅರಣ್ಯವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನೀರಿಲ್ಲದ ಕಾರಣ ಅಲ್ಲಿಯ ವಿಾನುಗಳು ಬಾಯಾರಿ ಸತ್ತುನಾರುವವು.

ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ದೇವರ ಸಂಕಲ್ಪ ವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುವದರಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಹಿಂದೆಗೆಯ ಲಿಲ್ಲ.

ಮನುಷ್ಯಪುತ್ರನೇ, ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇ ಲಿನ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಕಾಯಲು ಕಾವಲುಗಾರನನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಆದದರಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿಂದ ಕೇಳಿ ನನ್ನಿಂದ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ ಕೊಡು.

ನನಗೆ ಆತನು--ಮನುಷ್ಯಪುತ್ರನೇ, ಹೋಗು; ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರ ಮನೆಯವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ನನ್ನ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾತನಾಡು.

ಅವರು ನಿರ್ಲಜ್ಜರಾದ ಒರಟು ಹೃದಯವುಳ್ಳ ಮಕ್ಕಳಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಅವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ ನೀನು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆಂದು ಹೇಳಬೇಕು.
ಯೆರೆಮಿಯ 1:19
ಅವರು ನಿನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಯುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡುವರು; ಆದರೆ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಗೆಲ್ಲುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನೇ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ಅನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ.

ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಆತನು -- ನೀನು ಈ ಜನರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ -- ನೀವು ಕಿವಿಯಾರೆ ಕೇಳಿದರೂ ತಿಳಿಯಬಾರದೆಂದೂ ಕಣ್ಣಾರೆ ಕಂಡರೂ ಅದನ್ನು ಗ್ರಹಿಸಬಾರದೆಂದೂ ತಿಳಿಸು.
