ಯೆರೆಮಿಯ 41:13
ಆಗ ಆದದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ಇಷ್ಮಾಯೇಲನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಕಾರೇಹನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋಹಾನಾನನನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದ ಸೈನ್ಯಾಧಿ ಪತಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ನೋಡಿದಾಗ ಸಂತೋಷಪಟ್ಟರು.

And have not obeyed the voice of my teachers, nor inclined mine ear to them that instructed me!

obeyed	שָׁ֭מַעְתִּי	šāmaʿtî	SHA-ma-tee
the voice	בְּק֣וֹל	bĕqôl	beh-KOLE
of my teachers,	מוֹרָ֑י	môrāy	moh-RAI
nor	וְ֝לִֽמְלַמְּדַ֗י	wĕlimĕlammĕday	VEH-lee-meh-la-meh-DAI
inclined	לֹא	lōʾ	loh
mine ear	הִטִּ֥יתִי	hiṭṭîtî	hee-TEE-tee
to them that instructed	אָזְנִֽי׃	ʾoznî	oze-NEE

Now it came to pass,	וַיְהִ֗י	wayhî	vai-HEE
that when all	כִּרְא֤וֹת	kirʾôt	keer-OTE
people the	כָּל	kāl	kahl
which	הָעָם֙	hāʿām	ha-AM
were with	אֲשֶׁ֣ר	ʾăšer	uh-SHER
Ishmael	אֶת	ʾet	et
saw	יִשְׁמָעֵ֔אל	yišmāʿēl	yeesh-ma-ALE
	אֶת	ʾet	et
Johanan	יֽוֹחָנָן֙	yôḥānān	yoh-ha-NAHN
son the	בֶּן	ben	ben
of Kareah,	קָרֵ֔חַ	qārēaḥ	ka-RAY-ak
and all	וְאֵ֛ת	wĕʾēt	veh-ATE
the captains	כָּל	kāl	kahl
forces the of	שָׂרֵ֥י	śārê	sa-RAY
that	הַחֲיָלִ֖ים	haḥăyālîm	ha-huh-ya-LEEM
were with	אֲשֶׁ֣ר	ʾăšer	uh-SHER
him, then they were glad.	אִתּ֑וֹ	ʾittô	EE-toh
	וַיִּשְׂמָֽחוּ׃	wayyiśmāḥû	va-yees-ma-HOO
