Jeremiah 34:3
ನೀನು ಅವನ ಕೈಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳು ವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಆದರೆ ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಹಿಡಿಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು, ಅವನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವಿ; ನಿನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡುವವು, ಅವನು ಎದುರೆ ದುರಾಗಿ ಸಾಕ್ಷಾತ್ತಾಗಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡು ವನು; ನೀನು ಬಾಬೆಲಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುವಿ.

ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ವಿಭಾಗಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಸೈನ್ಯದ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಅರಸನ ತೋಟದ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಎರಡು ಗೋಡೆಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಗಲ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ಓಡಿಹೋದರು; ಆದರೆ ಅರಸನು ಬಯಲು ಮಾರ್ಗ ವಾಗಿ ಹೋದನು.

ದುಷ್ಟನಾದ ಭ್ರಷ್ಟ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ ಪ್ರಭುವೇ, ನೀನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಅಕ್ರಮಗಳಿಂದ ನಿನಗೆ ಅಂತ್ಯ ದಿವಸವು ಬಂದಿತು.

ನನ್ನ ಬಲೆಯನ್ನು ಸಹ ನಾನು ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಹರಡುವೆನು. ಅವನು ನನ್ನ ಉರ್ಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಬೀಳುವನು. ನಾನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕಸ್ದೀಯ ದೇಶದ ಬಾಬೆಲಿಗೆ ಒಯ್ಯುವೆನು. ಆದರೆ ಅವನು ಅದನ್ನು ನೋಡದೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಸಾಯುವನು.

ಆಗ ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ವಿಭಾಗವಾಯಿತು; ಯುದ್ಧಸ್ಥರೆಲ್ಲರು ಓಡಿಹೋಗಿ, ಅರಸನ ತೋಟದ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಎರಡು ಗೋಡೆಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯದ ಬಾಗಲಿನ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೊರಟು, ಬೈಲು ಸೀಮೆಯ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ಹೋದರು. ಆದರೆ ಕಸ್ದೀಯರು ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಇದ್ದರು.

ಆಗ ಆದದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ಯೆಹೂ ದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಚಿದ್ಕೀಯನೂ ಯುದ್ಧಸ್ಥರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಅವರನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದಾಗ ಓಡಿಹೋಗಿ ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಅರಸನ ತೋಟದ ಮಾರ್ಗದಿಂದ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಎರಡು ಗೋಡೆಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಬಾಗಲಿನಿಂದ ಹೊರಟರು;
