Isaiah 32:14
ಅರಮನೆಗಳು ಕೈಬಿಡಲ್ಪಡುವವು. (ವಿಸರ್ಜಿಸು ವವು) ಸಮೂಹಗಳಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿದ್ದ ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ನಿರ್ಜನ ವಾಗುವದು. ದುರ್ಗಗಳೂ ಕೋಟೆಗಳೂ ಯಾವಾ ಗಲೂ ಗುಹೆ (ಗವಿ)ಗಳಾಗಿಯೂ ಕಾಡುಕತ್ತೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಂತೋಷವಾಗಿಯೂ ಮಂದೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಮೇಯುವ ಸ್ಥಳವಾಗಿಯೂ ಇರುವವು.

ಪಟ್ಟಣ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಳೇ ಉಳಿದಿವೆ; ನಾಶನವು ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲಿಗೆ ತಟ್ಟಿದೆ.
ಯೆಶಾಯ 24:10
ಗಲಿಬಿಲಿಗುಂಟಾದ ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ಹಾಳಾಗಿದೆ. ಯಾರು ಒಳಗೆ ಬಾರದಂತೆ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಮನೆಯು ಮುಚ್ಚಿದೆ.

ಇಗೋ, ಕರ್ತನು ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು (ಲೋಕವನ್ನು) ಬರಿದುಮಾಡಿ ನಿರ್ಜನ ಪ್ರದೇಶ ವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿ ತಲೆಕೆಳಕಾಗಿ ತಿರುಗಿಸಿ ಅದರ ನಿವಾಸಿ ಗಳನ್ನು ಚದರಿಸಿಬಿಡುವವನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
