Genesis 48:7
ನಾನು ಪದ್ದನ್‌ ಅರಾಮಿನಿಂದ ಬಂದಾಗ ಕಾನಾನ್‌ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಫ್ರಾ ತಿಗೆ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿರುವಾಗ ರಾಹೇಲಳು ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸತ್ತಳು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂದರೆ ಬೇತ್ಲೆಹೇಮೆಂಬ ಎಫ್ರಾತಿನ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಹೂಣಿಟ್ಟೆನು ಅಂದನು.

ದಾವೀದನು ಯೆಹೂದದ ಬೇತ್ಲೆಹೇಮ್‌ ಊರಿನ ಎಫ್ರಾತ್ಯನಾದ ಇಷಯನೆಂಬವನ ಮಗನಾ ಗಿದ್ದನು. ಈ ಇಷಯನಿಗೆ ಎಂಟು ಮಂದಿ ಕುಮಾರ ರಿದ್ದರು. ಇವನು ಸೌಲನ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರೊಳಗೆ ವೃದ್ಧನಾಗಿದ್ದನು.

ಆದರೆ ಎಫ್ರಾತದ ಬೇತ್ಲೆಹೇಮೇ, ನೀನು ಯೆಹೂದದ ಸಾವಿರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಣ್ಣದಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ದೊರೆತನ ಮಾಡತಕ್ಕವನು ನಿನ್ನೊಳ ಗಿಂದ ನನಗಾಗಿ ಹೊರಡುವನು; ಆತನ ಹೊರಡೋಣ ಗಳು ಪೂರ್ವದಿಂದಲೂ ಅನಾದಿ ದಿವಸಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಅವೆ.
