Ezekiel 29:5
ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲಿರುವ ಮೃಗಗಳಿಗೂ ಆಕಾಶದ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳಿಗೂ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಆಹಾರ ವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

ನೀನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದಳಗಳೂ ನಿನ್ನೊಂದಿಗಿರುವ ನಿನ್ನ ಜನರೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಪರ್ವತಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಳುವಿರಿ; ಎಲ್ಲಾ ತರಹದ ಮಾಂಸ ತಿನ್ನುವ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳಿಗೂ ಬಯಲಿನ ಮೃಗಗಳಿಗೂ ತಿನ್ನುವಂತೆ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವೆನು.

ನೀನು ಹೀಗೆ ಘನತೆಯಿಂದಲೂ ದೊಡ್ಡಸ್ತಿಕೆ ಯಿಂದಲೂ ಏದೆನಿನ ಯಾವ ಮರಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಮ ನಾಗಿರುವೆ? ಆದರೂ ಏದೆನಿನ ಮರಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ಕೆಳಗಿನ ಸೀಮೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಇಳಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವಿ; ಸುನ್ನತಿಯಿಲ್ಲದವರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಹತವಾದವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಲ ಗುವಿ. ಇದೇ ಫರೋಹನನೂ ಅವನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನ ಸಮೂಹವೂ ಆಗಿವೆ ಎಂದು ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.
