Ezekiel 23:39
ತಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಕೊಂದು ಹಾಕಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅದೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ಕೆಡಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದರು. ಇಗೋ, ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ಆಲಯದ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಹೀಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ;

ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯೂ ಯಾಜಕನೂ ಕೂಡ ಭ್ರಷ್ಟರೇ; ಹೌದು, ನನ್ನ ಆಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಕೆಟ್ಟತನವನ್ನು ಕಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ಅನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ.

ಆಮೇಲೆ ಅವರು ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಕಾಯಫನ ಬಳಿಯಿಂದ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದರು. ಆಗ ಮುಂಜಾನೆಯಾಗಿತ್ತು. ತಾವು ಮೈಲಿಗೆಯಾಗಿ ಪಸ್ಕದ ಊಟ ಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಅಡ್ಡಿಯಾದೀತೆಂದು ಅವರು ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯದ ಒಳಗೆ ಹೋಗಲಿಲ್ಲ.

ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ನನ್ನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ಅಪವಿತ್ರಪಡಿಸಿ ನನ್ನ ಸಬ್ಬತ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೆಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಅವರ ಮುಖಭಾವವೇ ಅವರಿಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ತಮ್ಮ ಪಾಪ ಗಳನ್ನು ಸೊದೋಮಿನವರಂತೆ ಮರೆಮಾಜದೆ ಪ್ರಕಟ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಅವರ ಆತ್ಮಕ್ಕೆ ಅಯ್ಯೋ! ತಮಗೆ ತಾವೇ ಕೇಡನ್ನು ಪ್ರತೀಕಾರವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
