Ezekiel 21:14
ಆದದರಿಂದ ಮನುಷ್ಯ ಪುತ್ರನೇ ನೀನು ಚಪ್ಪಾಳೆ ತಟ್ಟಿ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಸು; ಹತ ರಾದವರ ಕತ್ತಿಯು ಮೂರನೆಯ ಸಾರಿಯೂ ಎರಡ ರಷ್ಟು ಮಾಡಲಿ; ಅದು ತಮ್ಮ ರಹಸ್ಯ ಕೋಣೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಹಾ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಿದ ಕತ್ತಿಯೇ.

ನಾನು ಸಹ ಕೈತಟ್ಟಿ ನನ್ನ ರೋಷವನ್ನು ತೀರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು ಎಂದು ಕರ್ತನಾದ ನಾನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

ಅವನ ಆಳಿಕೆಯ ಒಂಭತ್ತನೇ ವರುಷದ ಹತ್ತನೇ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಹತ್ತನೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಏನಾಯಿತಂದರೆ, ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ನೆಬೂಕ ದ್ನೆಚರನು ತಾನೂ ತನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸೈನ್ಯವೂ ಯೆರೂಸ ಲೇಮಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಂದು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಎದುರಾಗಿ ದಂಡಿಳಿದು ಅದರ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ದಿಣ್ಣೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿದರು.

ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ವಿಾಕಾಯೆಹುವುಇಗೋ, ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಚ್ಚಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಒಳಕೊಠಡಿ ಯೊಳಗೆ ನೀನು ಹೋಗುವ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ನೋಡುವಿ ಅಂದನು.

ಮಿಕ್ಕಾದವರು ಅಫೇಕ್ ಪಟ್ಟಣದೊಳಗೆ ಓಡಿ ಹೋದರು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಗೋಡೆಯು ಉಳಿದ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತೇಳು ಸಾವಿರ ಮಂದಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಿತ್ತು. ಆದರೆ ಬೆನ್ಹದದನು ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಓಡಿಬಂದು ಕೊಠಡಿಯ ಒಳ ಕೊಠಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಚ್ಚಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡನು.
