ಆಗ ಮಂತ್ರಗಾರರು ಫರೋಹ ನಿಗೆ--ಇದು ದೇವರ ಕೈಯಾಗಿದೆ ಅಂದರು. ಆದರೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳಿದಂತೆ ಫರೋಹನ ಹೃದಯವು ಕಠಿಣ ವಾಯಿತು; ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಅವರ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಲಿಲ್ಲ.

ವಿಮೋಚನಕಾಂಡ 10:7
ಆಗ ಫರೋಹನ ಸೇವಕರು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಇವನು ಎಷ್ಟು ಕಾಲ ನಮಗೆ ಉರುಲಾಗಿರಬೇಕು. ಆ ಜನರು ತಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಬಿಡು. ಐಗುಪ್ತವು ನಾಶವಾಯಿ ತೆಂದು ನಿನಗೆ ಇನ್ನೂ ತಿಳಿಯಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ ಅಂದರು.

ವಿಮೋಚನಕಾಂಡ 7:5
ನಾನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ಮೇಲೆ ನನ್ನ ಕೈಯನ್ನಿಟ್ಟು ಅವರೊಳ ಗಿಂದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಹೊರಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿ ದಾಗ ನಾನೇ ಕರ್ತನೆಂದು ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿದು ಬರುವದು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
