ಇವರು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಾಲಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸಿ ಕಠಿಣ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯ ಗಳನ್ನು ಮೋಶೆಯ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಂದು ಸಣ್ಣ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ತಾವೇ ತೀರಿಸಿದರು.

ವಿಮೋಚನಕಾಂಡ 18:14
ಮೋಶೆಯು ಜನರಿಗೆ ಮಾಡುವದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮೋಶೆಯ ಮಾವನು ನೋಡಿ ಮೋಶೆಗೆ--ಇದೇನು ಜನರಿಗೆ ನೀನು ಮಾಡುವದು? ಯಾಕೆ ನೀನೊಬ್ಬನೇ ಕೂತಿರಲಾಗಿ ಜನರು ಬೆಳಗಿನಿಂದ ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲದ ವರೆಗೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಅಂದನು.
